You can try any bottle as long as you order 2 glasses. The happy hour wine $10 are gross. Food are Ok. Very friendly staffs. One of the Outdoor tables has an overhead heater
This place get lots of praise, and the outdoor seating is cute with electric heaters. However, the inside looks a little less than finished, wine glasses are fairly pricey ~$18 and they tack on a "Technology Fee" to the final bill, notifying as such at the bottom of your receipt. If it was on the menu, it was not visible to us. $35 for two glasses and the fee was $1.31. And it appears, based on the language, that the technology fee applies to all sales regardless if card or cash. At the cost of the wine and the neighborhood, the wine bar is not competing for the value-price guest who chooses to drink at the most economical spots. So why would the restaurant claim to need an additional charge on transactions? If a place is that greedy on the final bill, you'd start to imagine if they are also short the volume of their pours.
Happening location in the West Village on Hudson Street, my first visit and it was a busy Friday night, beautiful weather. The hostess/waitress worked to find us a table as soon as was possible and we got a nice spot on the sidewalk. Just had one glass of vermintino on this visit. I will say that I was expecting even a little bit more generous of a pour. I think it may have been a standard sized pour because my friend and I were served identical amounts. It wasn’t the most expensive wine at $14 but I would like more than three sips.
Impossible to beat. Fantastic wine. Fantastic service. Delicious bites. Wonderful atmosphere. There’s a reason we’re here all the time!
My favorite spot for some wine! I’ve been here a few times and every visit I’ve had great customer service. Our waitress today was very kind and even on a busy Thursday, she made sure we were taken care of. Many wine selections available and my favorite and best place for meats and cheeses! I’ll keep recommending to friends to visit!
Wine is good, gets pretty busy around 5/5:3pm on a weekday. The girl with glasses is very spaced out and not attentive to guests.
Two years in a roll to celebrate my birthday in LELABAR. I like to sit by the bar and grab a bottle of Japanese beer. I know this is not the only place in the city to carry this beer, but the vibe here is quite enjoyable. Look forward to coming back soon. 12.27.2019 Another year with Hitachino red rice and white ale! Somehow the red ice is not on the menu;
nice casual place to meet up and grab a glass of wine! we didn’t eat, just grabbed a glass of wine from their happy hour menu until 7
Wonderful little wine bar. The wine selection was great. Definitely try the interesting Greek wine for something really unique.
