Wow! I had the best service imaginable with the staff at Leland Goldman. I had the opportunity to rent and purchase properties from them. Sissy was totally on point in addressing all my needs. John, where do I begin? You made me feel like part of the family, and the service you gave me was impeccable. I'm trying to write this review without crying because I have 'NEVER' experienced this type of service from any company. As I stated, I feel like part of your family for life. Thank you, John, Sissy, and the rest of the staff. I could say more, but I need to leave room for others :

When I was in the market for my first home purchase, John was instrumental in finding the right house with all the features I was looking for. He was relentless in finding just what I wanted: location, price and property features, while making it an enjoyable process from start through closing. Years later when I relocated out of the area, he played just as an important role in the selling the home. We were under some time constraints with the contingence purchase which could have been very stressful but John came through in typical fashion with a cash offer at asking price. And we closed without a hitch. I would recommend John to anyone buying or selling a property.

I lived in a rental for 5 years. They were excellent landlords but when it came to moving out, they weren't so nice. I cleaned the townhouse and may have left a small few things behind and they took my whole security deposit and my pet fee when there was no damage at all. Even if they needed to get the placed cleaned it wouldn't have cost almost $1600. What a rip off

As a property management company they are pretty bad to the tenants that rent the properties they manage. I actually ended up contacting the owners of the condo I rented to inform them about the terrible job they were doing. The owners were very surprised but since they are the ones paying them I’m sure they always responded to them. When I moved in it was obvious a professional cleaning had not been done. Items were left in cabinets and furniture too that I guess was my responsibility to remove. The previous tenants had moved out quickly and they wanted to move someone in as quick as possibly without due diligence. Maintenance requests took forever or were ignored. One person I dealt with would actually lie and say they had responded to me which they didn’t do. It was obvious the turnover was high in their office and they would get good and bad people as far as responding and acting. Maintenance people that came out were always good and professional at least. I would be wary with this company to say the least or not be surprised if you are disappointed.

We highly recommend Sissy at Leland Goldman Real Estate. She was incredibly helpful in our search for a new home. Moving from the west coast and having no prior knowledge of the Virginia Beach area, Sissy shared detailed information about each area of the rentals she showed us. She went above and beyond in showing us rentals outside of her normal work hours. She provided excellent customer service rooted in genuine care for our family. We thank her for helping us find the perfect home for our family! Additionally, a week after settling into our new home, we received a welcome card with all of Sissy's favorite food spots. We had mentioned on one of our calls with her that my husband is a foodie and he asked for her best recommendations as a VB local. And to top it off, she also gave us a gift card to one of her favorite restaurants. So thoughtful!! She also has a heart for those serving in the military since her husband was prior service and they know the challenges of moving PCSing. So if you're simply looking for a rental or purchasing a new home, do yourself a favor and seek out Sissy for her thoughtful and kind help. She is simply THE Best in VB!
