Friendly French Bistro on the Lower East Side * Open every day * French food with a New York accent * DJs Fridays * Bohemians warmly welcomed!
LES Enfants de Bohème is what every neighborhood needs—a casual French bistro where you can count on having a warm welcome, a great meal, and where you'll probably bump into someone you know.
Longtime Lower East Side resident Stéfan Jonot (of beloved LES outpost Les Enfants Terribles, 2003–2012, RIP) missed the friendly corner bistros he grew up with in Paris, the kind of place that becomes part of your daily routine — where you grab your morning coffee, spend downtime with a book, dine with family, or pop in for a nightcap. A living room for the neighborhood, LES Enfants de Bohème welcomes free-spirited enfants of all ages.
The menu features classic French bistro fare, emphasizing fresh seasonal ingredients and local sourcing. Our to-go annex, LES Enfants Délice, serves savory crepes Bretonnes (galette de sarrasin, made with buckwheat flour), sweet crepes, baguette sandwiches, salads, and ice cream from upstate New York Adirondack Creamery. Our coffee is fair-trade organic Vittoria Coffee.
