I've been working with Cregory at Leveluppt for about a year now, and I am loving my results. He will work with you no matter what fitness level and what issues you might have. I have very mild asthma and occasional knee issues and I'm always accommodated without having to sacrifice a good workout. Cregory is knowledgeable, works with positive motivation and reinforcement, and is always encouraging. I've lost 35 lbs, gained muscle and feel fabulous because of his classes and advice. If you're looking for a trainer and have no idea where to start, I highly, HIGHLY recommend Cregory and Leveluppt.
Cregory is phenomenal! As a female who normally feels self-conscious exercising around males, I have to say that I am so glad that I gave Cregory a chance. He is so friendly and down-to-earth. He happens to be my age and, therefore we related well with each other. He always switches up exercises to keep things fresh, and he pushes me enough to keep me challenged. I lost weight and inches after several sessions and always felt great after each session. Although I no longer have sessions with Cregory, I am eternally grateful to him for getting me motivated to exercise regularly. I still intend to seek his help when I feel my motivation is slipping. I would wholeheartedly recommend giving Cregory a try. It will be a decision you won't regret.
I started working out with Cregory after a year of pandemic weight gain in the hopes of getting in shape for my wedding! I exceeded my goals and felt amazing and strong. I’ve kept up working with him to keep myself honest! Would recommend and so convenient to have him come to my home!
Cregory is an awesome personal trainer and I would absolutely recommend him if you're looking to lose weight, get stronger, and increase your overall stamina. In the 24 sessions I had with him, I did all of the above! I had never worked with a personal trainer before, but Cregory was exactly the kind of trainer I was hoping to find. He's consistent, patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. He has a calm and laid back energy, which I really appreciated. Don't be fooled though, he may not have the personality of a drill sergeant, but he will absolutely kill you in your workouts! I was completely wiped out after every session, which was obviously exhausting but also really gratifying. His rates are super reasonable for DC, not to mention all of his expertise and the fact that he comes directly to you and works with your schedule. I also really appreciated his attention to my form and directing me on where I should be placing my weight and which muscles should be activated. Who knew I've been doing lunges wrong my entire life? He also talked to me about my nutrition, giving me advice on my macros and suggesting different things to try. Finally, the results -- after my 24 sessions with Cregory spanning Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and traveling for work I lost almost 20 pounds and several inches all around my body. I went from barely being able to do a proper tricep dip to completing multiple sets of them in a circuit. I feel mentally stronger too. I went in to personal training as a way to help me develop better, consistent habits that I could keep up with on my own and I absolutely feel prepared to do that. I have to travel extensively for work, so I'm not able to continue training with Cregory, but if you're on the fence, definitely go for it!
Cregory is a terrific trainer and I couldn't be happier with my training at Level Up. I've been working with Cregory for about six months now, about twice a week, and no two workouts have been the same. He tailors every workout to your fitness needs, always offers encouragement, and gets results. I'm feeling stronger than ever before and actually look forward to working out. Cregory is also extremely responsive and flexible about workout timing. He has made it a breeze to reschedule when life has gotten hectic. I can't recommend Level Up highly enough!
Cregory is a wonderful trainer. He makes your workouts work for your schedule. Personable and motivating. After a few sessions, we got into a groove and he continuously adapts the workouts to my body. Happy to support Black Business. Incredibly queer friendly too :
I've been working with Cregory for about three months and have been really, really pleased. He is flexible, accommodating and really knows his stuff. There's great variety from workout to workout, so there's no chance for boredom to set in. I'm also really impressed with how well he manages my fitness level and tailors each workout to be sure that I'm challenged. I've dropped weight, but even more important than that to me, I feel stronger and leaner.
Cregory is a great trainer, I came in with a six-week lead time before a big, physical trip 3 weeks rafting, kayaking, and carrying heavy loads down the Grand Canyon and he got me motivated and STRONG for the trip! Flexible with his schedule, great advice for a short at-home routine to complement my work with him at the gym, and a diverse set of exercises that kept things interesting and kept me building up all the muscles I'd need. After a long time of wishing I had a personal trainer, I finally got one! A few yelp and google searches here and there and I came across Cregory. I reviewed his website, testimonials, as well as his yelp reviews and determined he was the personal trainer I wanted to start my fitness journey with! I sent him a quick email telling him my goals and aspirations, and he responded very promptly and had me come in for a 30 minute free assessment. After filling out a few papers and workout out our schedules, I was in for my first training. I honestly was nervous because I was worried I wasn't going to be strong or fit enough for the exercises but I was completely wrong. Cregory personalized workouts for me based on my current fitness level and it worked out perfectly. The first session was very good because we started off slower, that way I wouldn't injure myself lifting heavy weights, as well as to just see where to begin and base my other sessions off. Each session is different. This keeps me excited to come to every personal training session and enthusiastic about getting a good work out in. He plays a variety of music during each session as well, which gives me a little extra energy to do that last rep. During the sessions Cregory gives a demonstration of the exercise and then proceeds to have me do a certain amount of sets and reps. He is always on it to let me know if I'm doing it wrong, or just not getting the most out of it. Thanks to his consistency of making sure I'm completing the exercise right, I have seen a lot of progress. My goals were to gain muscle and lose body fat, and I've done just that. Wanting to make a change in your body or just trying to find the motivation to workout can be challenging for some people, including myself. I can honestly say that Cregory is constantly pushing me to do my best and to complete every single rep properly. This is very encouraging and makes for a great environment. Cregory is a very knowledgeable personal trainer. He knows exactly how to get you where you want to be, and how to do it. When I first started at the end of May, I was struggling to gain lean muscle. Almost 3 months later and my shoulders, arms, legs, and stomach have improved tremendously. I originally signed up for 24 sessions to see how I liked personal training. After those sessions were completed, I found myself wanting another 24! I loved it so much that I decided to take 24 more sessions. Unfortunately I will be graduating college and moving, but my time with Cregory was and continues to be great! Parking outside of his location is also very easy. There is always plenty of neighborhood street parking available. If you're looking to start your fitness journey now, I highly recommend starting with Cregory! You can't go wrong.
