The Liberace Foundation was endowed by Liberace himself in 1976 and had granted nearly $6 million is scholarships in the creative and performing arts.
The Liberace Foundation manages the assets with which it was endowed by Liberace himself to generate funding for performing and creative arts scholarship. Since 1981, we have distributed nearly $6 million in scholarships nationwide.
The Foundation owns the famed Liberace Museum Collection, including over 100 costumes, 17 pianos, 8 cars, 38 chandeliers, 18 candelabras, priceless dinnerware, jewelry, furniture and much more which was owned by Liberace during his lifetime. These artifacts are organized into various traveling exhibits which can be general in nature or focused on a limited subject matter.
In addition to the collection, the Foundation owns the rights to publicity of Liberace, including the use of the Liberace name, image, trademarks and logos. These assets are offered in brand licensing in the entertainment, music, jewelry, apparel, luxury goods and other industries to generate income to the Foundation. We routinely entertain licensing proposals.
