Story

Liberated Movement® is changing the concept of taking a dance class by offering dance instruction in an environment that is financially and socially accessible. We provide donation-based dance classes in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Our classes are open to anyone in the NYC community. Prior dance experience is not required. We suggest a donation of $10 per class.

Mission

By providing donation-based dance classes to the public community at large, we are striving to make dance accessible to more people. We especially want to serve those who have not taken dance classes before, and offer them a supportive, welcoming environment where they can gain a basic knowledge of different styles without having to spend large amounts of money or make serious commitments. Teachers conduct classes to address the varying levels of students, catering to anyone who may attend a class.
