Great traditional Italian food. However, the desert is not ouuuf and a little bit pricy. Overall, it is a must try.
The yummiest food i had in paris thankfully it was my last night here so i ended it perfectly! I would really thank the Tunisian guy i forgot to take his name : for welcoming us, being so patient throughout reading the menu and ordering he was explaining every little thing and recommending the best dishes!!! THANK YOU BIG TIMES الله يجزاك خير، العرب كلهم خير في كل مكان
The food was average overall considering the meat was chewy, the sauce by the escalope was nice, the spinach was outstanding and the potatoes were average. Maybe i should have ordered something else. The waiters were very friendly. What is surprising is after giving them a review on a different platform, where i say the service is good, the ambiance is good but the food is simply not delicious, they reply back with a disrespectful and non-professional reply to my review. This is not acceptable, shame on you. The only reason i’m still giving 2 stars is thanks to how friendly your staff is
Everyone else was offered a carafe of water and a basket of bread. I was offered neither. That could be forgiven if the food was good. I ordered the gnocchi and it was bland and overcooked, almost mushy. As if they had put it in the microwave. Really disappointed and not worth the 25 euros
Absolutely delicious food in an adorable little restaurant near Etienne Marcel. Had an artichoke hearts appetizer that was quite unique. They were shredded like cabbage giving the dish the look of cole slaw. They must have been baby artichokes because they didn’t appear to be cooked but were pretty tender. I got the eggplant appetizer as my main dish. I call it eggplant melanzana which is usually cooked, sliced eggplant layered with mozzarella and sauce. This had no mozzarella and was layered with generous amounts of Parmesan. The eggplant tasted like it was almost caramelized. Absolutely delicious. Hubs got veal Marsala. The veal was quite tender but the Marsala sauce was a bit too sweet for me and not quite winey enough. Still, it was quite good. It came with some very tasty cooked spinach. No room for dessert. We sat outside on a balmy early June night and enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the neighborhood.
Great restaurant with very good Italian food. The only problem is that the menu is only in French so if you don't know the language it will be a bit tricky...
The PACCHERI al Saint-Jaques as well as the SPAGHETTI alla bufala were excellent, with fresh ingredients and really tasty. We loved the atmosphere outside in the street of Tiquetonne. Also the service was tipptopp. High recommendation!
Worst restaurant experience I’ve had in all my years coming to this fabulous city. Staff were uninterested, unhelpful and verging on rude. We had the sharing starter platter. Which was dull and uninspiring. We both had steak meals. Mine was so tough I left half of it. My wife’s was little better. I tried to explain the meal was not satisfactory but the waiter had already gone! The only thing that came quickly from the waiters was the bill! So disappointing
The most authentic Italian food you can find in Paris.
Favorite italian restaurant in Paris. Simple food executed perfectly.
