I called in to switch providers for my kids dentist. The gentleman that assisted me was very nice. It was quick and easy phone call. Was on and off the phone within 10 minutes.
Called them for almost 3 hours!! I called for benefits questions. They picked up after 2 hours and transferred me to a different line/representative and never answered since then. As you can see it is now 5:50pm when i took this picture. Very disappointed in services.
They could not approve my wisdom teeth extraction as an emergency and could only "expedite" my claim. By expedite they meant 48-72 hours for processing. Their staff's main answer to my questions was "I don't know" and "I can't guarantee that you'll have an answer by then" and "I'm not in that department".
My Son had tooth pain. They gave him an appointment the next day. Wonderful, caring staff. Plenty of parking. Handicap close to the door. Convenient location.
What's the purpose of having insurance that doesn't cover any dental work other than extractions?
Calling around to see who would accept this insurance is like listening to a sad old song on repeat for six months.
Everyone is doing their best to balance the government budget while providing help to patients. Patients and providers need to realize that this program exists to serve those without any other options.
