I called Dan because my car had two flat tires in the front. I live on the street behind the garage. The car couldn’t be driven so Dan sent a person over to my car and took off the tires and carried them back to the garage and put on two new tires. Then he brought them back and installed them on the car. He then drove the car back to the garage and changed the oil for me. All this occurred with no notice or appointment, I was really stuck and Dan was very busy that day but he fit it in anyway. He was very polite and the price was very reasonable. This was my first time I ever called the garage so Dan didn’t know me and I didn’t know him do to the fact I’m new to the area. Dan did this with no appointment and at a moments notice. I think this was above and beyond. I really appreciate all Dan did for me. I highly recommend Liberty Auto !
DAN IS TRULY DA MAN! I discovered him 3 years ago while searching through AAA approved repair shops. He is really honest and nice. His prices are fair and will fix the problem quickly if possible. His staff is also pleasant. If he finds a problem you weren't aware of, he will show you the part if you wish and will explain what happened in detail or how to prevent it. He will work with you if you have a lot of issues with your vehicle. Most mechanics will say you need to get everything fixed at once and hit you with a high bill. Dan will point out what's really needed at that time and what you need to get fixed next time and won't fix anything without consulting with you first. He won't try to sell you on a bunch of services you don't need either. Also, if you notice something wrong or missing related to your repair and let him know, you can bring it back to him right away and if his shop is at fault, he'll admit the mistake and repair it at no cost. As far as the 2 negative reviews, one just sounds like a misunderstanding that they didn't want to work out with him and the other is just trying to discredit him, because if you read it, it is truly bogus. Just go by all the other great reviews or even better, just go visit the shop and see for yourself.
Dan and Will are skilled, knowledgeable, engaging and fair. I've been with them for almost 3 years. I'm grateful that they understand what is necessary but no more to keep an aging car safe and efficient.
I thought this place was suspicious. I have a brand new, 1 year old car and took it here for my first oil change. About 12 hours after I picked up my car it shut off completely as I was driving. Then made loud noises when I did get it started. I took it back to them and not only did they deny it had anything to do with them, but also overcharged me. They said a hose clamp had come loose which is highly unlikely to happen on its own on a new car. They also charged me $25 for parts, which was just a hose clamp that costs a couple dollars.
It may not be the fanciest shop but their service made up for it. I dropped my car off in the morning and was able to pick it up in the afternoon. Very easy to communicate over the phone and I felt that I was treated fairly and given honest service. I plan to return in the future.
Wasted my time. Had a 9AM appt I made earlier in the week with the owner Dan for Saturday. I showed up at 8:45AM. Waited outside. Nobody showed at 9AM. All doors were closed and locked. I knock and no answer. The mechanic pulls in at 9:10AM and I say hello. He asks what I'm coming in for and I say I'll be waiting for a State Inspection. He looked surprised and asks if I could leave it. I could see the look on his face meant that something was wrong. He lets me in and the owners wife is in there smoking. Huh? In the area where customers are? I tell her why I'm there and a guy working under a car says we can't do it. He was Dan the owner. I ask why since I made an appt and he said he had 10 cars left over from the day before. There werent even that many cars on the lot. Start of the lies. Says things come up and it's too bad. I said I can wait for it and he says he has no place for me to wait. I say I'll wait in my car and he says it will be an hour wait. I said I have no choice and then he says it will be more than two hours. He plain just didn't want a new customer and lied and made excuses to get rid of me. I would respect him more if he said he fell behind and would figure out how to help if I waited. I just don't like lies and sad excuses. Not to mention the shop was dirty and cluttered with crap. He was dressed dirty and the whole shop looked very run down. Don't waste your time. There are many other shops in the area. Found someone who took me in without an appt even though they were busy. Just goes to show you how different businesses say YES to business and solve customer issues to make them happy when they screw up or just to make a new customer. I'm pretty sure that's just how Liberty conducts itself since everyone was surprised I had a waiting appt and they all looked at Dan, the owner, to brush me off. It's his way. Loser.
Dan is a complete scam artist. If you ever ask for a synthetic oil and walk away, he'll put in cheapest dyno and cheapest filter. He sells services that are not needed, uses cheapest and the worst quality parts even if charging for premium. Please, DO NOT go there !!! Been there, seen it all. Place is a scam !!!
Danny and his crew always do great work on my Jeep and have it ready on time or early. Trustworthy, good guys. I highly recommend.
I took my aging vehicle to Liberty today it had to be towed. They could have easily stuck me with repairs that I do not need right now. They got my car running and let me go for $ 0.00! : Wow. I will return here soon when I need service :
The owner Dan, is super friendly and was kind enough to give me a ride back to my car so I could pick it up!I finally feel like I found a place I trust!PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value
