beautiful area, but actual playground is closed. signs said it should have been done months ago, but this is new jersey, so maybe next year?

Superb playground for kids and hosting birthday parties. You can call the office and reserve picnic tables by paying a fee in advance. Otherwise you can grab then on a first-come basis on the day of your event.

Be warned that it can get quite windy being next to the sea and you may need to tie-down your items on the table. If it rains - you're out of luck as there are no covered areas or gazebos.

There are convenient, clean, washrooms located nearby.
