Emily gives an incredible massage! I like that Emily will use different techniques each time depending on the ailment I’m experiencing. Cupping seems to help me breathe easier so I love adding that onto the massage. Every massage had left me feeling lighter and stress-free. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
My cousins nearly 18-year membership at Lifetime Fitness was marred by a disappointing experience with employee Ryan which I saw with my own eyes that happen to him. Despite his customer service role, Ryan unjustly accused me of racism without any evidence, which was not only baseless but also offensive. Additionally, he exhibited unprofessional conduct by raising his voice at a fellow member in front of her daughter, demonstrating a lack of courtesy and respect. In summary, my interactions with Ryan left me feeling frustrated and disheartened due to his lack of professionalism and poor judgment. I will also be looking into further consideration to see if I will keep my 10+year membership with lifetime, they need to get their workers into shape and retrain them. This is completely unacceptable. I will not tolerate any kind of name calling, especially from a worker who thinks they are entitled to the club only because they have been working there for a while. Do not enter expecting a good time. The only valuable person this club offers is Wally, he will always take care of you. Ryan needs to be taken care of.
Only gym I would ever drive 30+ minutes to get to without thinking twice. While it is expensive, you get what you pay for. They offer everything including care for your kiddos. Not just “babysitters” but actually workers that do programs with the kids like crafts, sports, yoga, & learning Spanish. Their classes & instructors are top of the line and help me reach my fitness goals. The cafe is an additional bonus for when I just need to reset, grab something healthy, or have time away. Everyone is very friendly and make you feel like you belong no matter what your fitness level or stage in life. Highly recommend for families!
Experienced a total body deep tissue massage with CBD oil with massage therapist, Emily. I've had multiple massages throughout my life and this, was by far, the best deep tissue massage I've ever had. often times after a deep tissue massage you leave quite sore. I left with a new sense of calm yet invigorated and energetic. I highly recommend Emily!
Been a member for ~20 years. I’ve never seen it this bad. Overselling memberships, locker rooms are not clean and run down, and their yoga facilities get worse every week. The space is too small and every class is flow by a different name. If you’re looking for guided yoga look elsewhere. ALSO: Avoid Claudia. Super rude and generally awful teacher.
If u are getting a membership to use the pool for your children think twice. Family of 5, and I pay 300.00 a month for us to basically use the pool for my young kids on Saturdays. Website says 1-4pm family pool time where they open the slides on Saturdays and Sundays. The slides very rarely open 3 hours today was only hour and 15 mins . Supervisor stated they didn’t have enough lifeguards but then I see 4 talking and chilling while another 2 lifeguards are watching the pool.
**UPDATE APR 16** I have been switching between locations and this one in Commerce is worst, nothing has changed. 3 heathers at the dry sauna and only 1 works for the last 4 MONTHS! Steem sauna at the mens restroom has broken lights for months, swimsuit dryer is been broken for the last 3 MONTHS!! And the security at the afternoon/night shift aggressive and unpolite at any opportunity given. What type of management allows this, paying top dollar for this memebership and they couldn't care less about their users, as soon as I have time in my agenda I will scalate this to someone who really cares. OCT 2023:I used to be lifetime member at this location before Covid and I would easily given 10 stars "if that was possible" plus the service staff was friendly. A month ago I joined again and subscribed my family expecting to go early or late "because of work it's the best time for me and my family" and now they don't allow kids early neither after 8pm, so now I can't come with my kid most of the time. Other locations DO allow kids in those hours and this is the only location that don't. The first day I came with my kid not knowing this, they were rude trying to kick me out because of my kid. Something I notice is how rude the staff members are here, not once but many times they have been rude and unpolite, it's like the word "customer service" is missing here, and they literally kick you out 15min before closing "never saw that in the past" and I mean you could tell people "it's closing time" but here it's more yelling, something like "HEY DIDN'T YOU SEE THE TIME, HELLO! WE ARE CLOSING!. The other day at 10pm, 2h left before closing a staff member came into the sauna which was full of people and told us to go out as he wanted to clean early to LEAVE EARLY "how are these guys trained, they don't care about customers" either way people reacted and said sauna was not supposed to be closed and then the staff member BROUGHT INTO THE SAUNA THE MOP AND CLEANER BOTTLE, he started moping in front of us and aftera couple minutes arguing and moping in front of us, some people mention those chemics in the sauna are actually toxic which is common sense, then he stopped. There was 12 people inside the sauna and he did not care about a single one. Later we leaved the sauna so he could clean and he CLOSED the sauna at 10:30pm, which was supposed to be open until 11:45pm. Considering this I am planning now to cancel my membership, I can't tolerate the bad customer service and how they really don't care about their users, there has not been a single day were I don't see the staff being rude, the way they kick you out, plus not even respecting their own hours it's really frustrating. I hope they train their staff better and teach them basic customer service skills like smiling and communicating without yelling or being sarcastic. Life time loss the vision at this location unfortunately
I’ve had nothing but great experiences at this lifetime. The employees are friendly and nice. They offer so many things you can do there. I would highly recommend coming to this location.
Very disappointed in the cafe. Ordered food, waited 45 minutes, asked what was going on, they forgot to make it. I watched two employees take a break and return to work while waiting. I would have thought my continued glares at the staff would have gotten their attention, but it did not. And to top it off, when I told the staff member I'd been waiting so long, I didn't even get offered a refund, or some other item for my very valuable time. I work 6.5 days per week, throwing time out on my only, half, day off is not fun. I've already joined another gym, and was visiting lifetime for the last time. Sure leaves a sour taste in my mouth, and will definitely remind me, along with the shortages of towels in various areas, that there are much better clubs for around the same price.
