Good luck if you ever want to cancel their Lifeline coverage. Unresponsive, unprofessional, rude Atlanta Dunwoody store. “It’s just $7” is their explanation for why I shouldn’t request a credit for an additional month charged while I have been trying to cancel this for 3 months and not able to reach anybody at the store. Once I finally did reach someone, they continued to charge after confirming cancellation. Avoid, there are better options out there to fix your phone.
I am so impressed with this place. Yesterday I walked in to have my mother’s iPad screen repaired. Matt the owner was so kind and helpful. Especially since the screen was fine. Mom had a screen protector on the iPad and that’s what was showing a crack. Of course that could’ve been embarrassing but we had a good laugh and Matt did not charge for the visit. He could have since time is money.. If ever I have a real issue with any of my devices I will definitely return to this business. I’m a huge fan of personable and friendly service. Sadly not always easy to find these days. If you’re a fan of the same, check this place out.
Don’t waste the time or money.. just go to the actual phone manufacturer for repairs. Went in for basic back screen glass replacement on iPhone XR and then the problems started with microphone not working and then facial recognition not working. Apple rejected any trade-in or exchange due to this. Tech was super nice and tried his best but recommend sticking to certified Apple repair shops
Set the scene : I was at work and one of my kids dropped my phone accidentally. It was already on its last leg with pieces falling off and this place was recommended and I do not regret it. Mr. Chris was exceptional. He got me in and out within 25 minutes. The membership is well worth the discount and after fee's. Much better than the insurance for the phone company. Thank you LifeLine Repairs. I was in and out on my lunch break. my repair included the repair. phone screen and phone case for a great.
Got my XR screen replaced 2 weeks ago at the North Druid Hills location, even though my original appt was at the Dunwoody location. I had to go to the North Druid Hills location due to the Dunwoody location not having an XR screen available, even though I had made an appointment for this specific thing. North Druid Hills put on a new screen, however, 2 weeks later my new screen stops working. It was not cracked, but the screen went black and colorful in some parts. I went to North Druid Hills today and they did not have an XR screen replacement so I was told to go back to Dunwoody. I arrived at the Dunwoody location and was told that I would have to pay for another screen, even though my screen was just fixed 2 weeks ago and I did not cause any damage to it. I agreed to get it fixed cause I needed a working phone, however, I do not believe I should have had to pay for this. The tech brought my phone back out, however I was locked out of my phone for an additional 30 minutes and could not use it. The tech could not explain to me why I was locked out of my phone. Overall, would not recommend. They do not take responsibility for putting on screen replacements incorrectly and I should not have had to pay for a screen 2 times in Less than 2 weeks.
I took my 2019 MacBook Air to this location because the reviews were so good. A young African American girl helped me. I needed my entire screen replaced; which she said would be $499 plus tax, and that the part would take 7-10 days to arrive. They called on Friday, 8/14 to let me know it was ready, but I stated that I was out of town and would have to pick it up on Monday. I went in on Monday, 8/17 to retrieve it; the screen had a thin plastic cover over it, but looked good when turned on. I didn't actually use the computer until a couple days later, Wednesday as I had been busy working. That's when I discovered the cover I had on the lid of my computer had been damaged; cracked in both the bottom corners. My next horror was when I went to YouTube to watch a few videos, and suddenly all this static started coming from my speakers. Stopped and restarted the videos to see if that would help, but no luck. I watched videos on other websites, still, static. Neither of these things were an issue AT ALL when I dropped it off. I don't even plan to take it back and hold them responsible, because I don't want them to try and say that it could have happened after I picked it up and is therefore my responsibility. So I'll need to come up with MORE money to have my speakers repaired by someone who won't damage my computer, and then hand it back to me like nothing happened...as for the cover, I'll to buy a new one. Bunch of college age kids apparently working in these places that have no idea what they're doing, and definitely aren't tech experts.
This place was really great! They have excellent customer service! I was quoted a cheaper price at another cell phone repair facility for my cracked iPhone 5 screen. I called Lifeline repair and they offered to match the price of the other facility. They replaced my screen in all of 20-30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to have their iPhone 5 screen replaced at a reasonable price and have great service provided to them.
Jeremiah is a wizard. I had a loss of data and strange behavior on my essential laptop. He not only diagnosed and fixed the issue, recovering the data and evaluating the machine performance, but also I just had a blast interacting with and learning from him. My problem was Windows 11 beware if you upgrade and my ineptitude, so there was no charge. I will be back! Great business.
