We provide one-on-one sessions for children ages 3-8 taught by clinically trained interventionists.

Story

Lil' Eggheads is a one-on-one, at-home tutoring service that seeks to build a curriculum around your child's needs. Alex and Liz founded Lil' Eggheads to equip children with foundational skills needed for elementary school, including the behavioral demands of the classroom. Using their background in mental health, sessions include a blend of educational activities and behavior intervention.

Our services:

Kindergarten Test Prep
(NYC Gifted & Talented Test, Stanford-Binet, AABL)

We prepare your child by teaching the concepts of the entrance exam and how to problem-solve independently. We also build their testing skills, such as testing stamina, time management, and test taking strategies.

Classroom Prep
We help your child build the skills they need in elementary school (reading, writing, math, science, social studies, behavior).

Strengthening foundational skills will enable your child to approach their classroom materials with accelerated understanding and confidence.

Mission

At Lil’ Eggheads, we provide educational services that go beyond the traditional scope of tutoring. We are mental health professionals and educators — think of us as education interventionists. In addition to test preparation, academic concepts, and homework help, we focus on helping kids become more confident, creative, and well adjusted.
