Lilly's Gourmet Pasta Express

If you’ve never been to Lilly’s Gourmet Pasta you’re kidding yourself! I have been coming here for over 10 years since I was in high school. This is hands down not only the best fresh pasta, but also the most consistent establishment. I’ve been taking new friends to Lilly’s for years & they fall in love as well. Matt the owner, is such an amazingly hardworking man. Matt has been behind the counter building relationships with every guest since the day I walked into Lilly’s. Today I stopped by to get my usual Cajun Shrimp & Broccoli Alfredo but instead Matt convinced me to try something new. He created a Wild Mushroom Ravioli with Cajun Shrimp Alfredo dish topped with Spinach & Sun Dried Tomatoes. OUTSTANDING!!! The combination of everything paired so well. I am very impressed with this dish and it is easily a new favorite. Make sure you try it or create your own pasta if you think you can top this : Thank you Matt & Lilly’s crew for being the best!

I came in randomly with a friend when we saw the sign and it was the best decision we made! Mathew greeted us with so much pride for the handmade pasta and sauces they make and made sure we had a great experience. I ordered the spinach ricotta ravioli with a vodka pink sauce and sausage and it was amazing!! The servings are large and the ravioli was stuffed to make it well worth the price. He chatted with us for a while and even gave us some cannoli’s to try out. Great place if you want a chill lunch in between classes or during a lunch break. 10/10 experience!!

Honestly the food never fails and the staff are kind and welcoming makes for a great time ether sitting in or taking out. My favorite dis is their Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta with potato gnocchi. Where my picture may not look flattering they always nail the extra shrimp and sauce and never fail with the amazing flavor. Would recommend this establishment to anyone! Parking: Street parking available but depending on the time of day could be difficult to find parking quick.

Lilly’s Gourmet is a favorite local spot for my family. As parents, my husband and I come here regularly for lunch dates when we want to treat ourselves to a hearty, fresh, and delicious meal of homemade pasta. I have committed myself to try a different dish each visit and so far, every pasta dish has been delicious the lobster ravioli, rigatoni with papas meat sauce, the chicken and shrimp Cajun Alfredo, etc. My husband orders his regular create your own: rigatoni with mamas tomato sauce—simple and made to perfection according to him. Lilly’s gourmet is conveniently located by the Orange line so every week sometimes twice! we pick up fresh pasta to go to “make” at home. Our favorites are the fusilli and the rigatoni. The homemade pasta here is soooo good, rivaled only by the friendly service. We love sitting at one of the windows watching people go about their day. Across the restaurant is a big playground and a public libeary so family and student friendly as well! We hope Lilly’s Gourmet stays here as it is a neighborhood gem!

Homemade pasta and sauce was fresh and delicious! The guy was honest and recommended what food to eat. This place is a hidden gem and worth every cent! I will be back again!!! Only Italian place I recommend. Yes the place inside is small if you want to sit down and eat. You can also take it to go. But the food is worth your time and money especially during these hard times! Going out to eat is now a luxury and I want to go to a restaurant that has fresh Italian food. Salad, pasta and sandwiches is your one stop place.

So delicious, can’t wait to go back! I had heard a lot of great things about this place. Being a foodie, I had to go and see what all the hype was all about. I was visiting a friend at Longwood and had some time to kill so took a walk. I stumbled across this cute and cozy corner restaurant and popped inside. All pasta is fresh homemade and you can even create your own!! Staff is very friendly and inviting while explaining the menu. I was told the Cajun chicken shrimp was the best seller and now I see why! Glad I found this spot and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!!!!
