Story

Linda Coad CPA has 20 years of experience in public and private accounting. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 1990 and began her career in public accounting at Coopers & Lybrand in Portland, Maine. She relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina in October 1992 and worked for Price Waterhouse in both the audit and tax departments.

In 1996, Linda began to develop her own public accounting practice from her office in historic Dilworth near Uptown Charlotte. Her clients include domestic and foreign based partnerships, corporations, estates and individuals. The majority of her clients are closely held small businesses. She provides tax and business consulting services to industries that include real estate, environmental, medical, legal, engineering, construction, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, technology, professional athletes and service.

Linda also provides project based services to clients that include general ledger and inventory software conversion and implementation, budgeting and cash flow projections, litigation support for criminal proceedings and divorce proceedings, assistance and consulting with start-up companies, and interim support during transitions of key personnel. She has developed a training program to teach small business owners how to use the QuickBooks® accounting software, manage their cash flow, understand their business finances and form a strong foundation for success.
