Ever wanted to eat a mountain of prosciutto but needed an excuse? Look no further. The #21 Jerry Vale is phenomenal. I added spicy gabagool and some mayo. The potato croquettes are fantastic too. Can’t wait to come back and try more stuff.
My buddy told me this place doesn't disappoint- let me tell YOU- It doesn't. This is the best damn chicken Parm Hero I've ever had. Took the crown off Sassys head - i was shocked. Solid portion, excellent quality chicken, hand made, breaded to perfection- plenty of meat on each cutlet- the cheese was legit, the sauce was perfect- the BREAD- MY GOD THE BREAD. Fresh, a little Crunch on the outside, nice and dougy in the center- not too much dough- just enough to compliment and carry the sandwich. Look, this place is really out of my way, but I'm gonna be back to try at least 15 of the damn near thousand specialty subs I see on their wall because this place is legit. When you want a good sandwich, this is exactly what you want. PEREFECTION.
The sandwiches are huge. 1 sandwich can be shared amongst 2 people. The sandwiches came out quick. There wasn't a line when I went. They have a few seats available. They also sell drinks and chips.
When I saw I was paying $17 for a hero I was speechless, however when I got it it was MASSIVE. There was definitely $17 worth of prosciutto on there. Delicious sandwich and worth the price. The mozzarella is also fresh and amazing.
Great place for some good Italian heroes . So far I've tried around 4 of there heroes out of their 137 different kinds of sandwiches ... haven't gotten disappointed yet so... I'll probably try my way through their menu . Their appetizers are great too! I recommend trying their fried prosciutto balls . My only problem with the sandwiches is that they are too big almost 16 inches.... I can't finish one sandwich by myself , so I had to share 3 sandwiches among 4 ppl still soulnt finish everything.
Delicious heros! We ordered #52 Lee Lacocca hero and #71 Marty Golden hero they were both huge and taste so good! They have so many different varietys of heros...My only regret is that I never knew about this place for all the years I lived in bensonhurst. Will definitely order again and recommend 100%!
Wow. This sandwich is humongous. It is good. The price for this sandwich is worth it. The sandwich have a name it is called #133. "Ralph Branca Hero". This what it had in the sandwich. Cappy ham, capicola, salami, Lioni fresh mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, mayo, olive oil, salt, pepper and onion and stuffed peppers.. Brooklyn dodger pitcher "This hero was herd around the world." It was my first experience. The taste is excellent and I would go back to try out another sandwich.
Wide variety of sandwiches. Appx $14 dollars per average sandwich, but they are more than filling and plenty of meat. It is not like a subway sandwich. Cash only. Limited selection of drinks, parking can be tough and few seating inside.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Best sandwich place in Brooklyn. Roast beef, mozzarella, and roasted peppers is my favorite.Food: 5/5
The true Brooklyn Italian hero experience. Literally hundreds of sandwich options but I went simple with a prosciutto, house made mozz, tomato, and basil. Hands down best sandwich I have ever had. Next time I gotta go for the chicken cutlet.
