I went to Lisa for a branding session and since I don't work for myself it really served as a photo session to present myself in my career as where I want to be, not where I am. From start to finish, Lisa and her team were so accommodating and helpful and every step. The styling and hair and makeup took away a lot of my nerves because I didn't have to worry about looking good. And when it came to posing - Lisa had a knack for being able to steer me into position without making me stiff, nervous or uncertain. The session itself was a blast, but the reveal day was way more than I expected. She's extremely talented at what she does and I am super glad I went to her!

The portraits that Lisa took are possibly the best photos I have ever seen of myself. Because she was friendly and light in her approach, clear and expert in her direction, and started our work together by getting to know exactly what I wanted and needed from my pictures author publicity, and why, by the time the photo session started I was more than hopeful that it would go well. I actually had fun. Lisa had scouted outdoor locations that worked very well for the background atmosphere I needed. And I thought that the cost of the photo session with hair/makeup, wardrobe advice and selection, and transportation to/from the locations was fair and affordable. I've received many compliments about the photos which I am using online and in print; I owe all of this to Lisa!

They were on-board with the types of style/clothes that I preferred or aspired to wear while also giving me good, pointed feedback about what would work and what wouldn't work. I don't have much confidence in knowing what clothes to wear, so their advice helped out a lot! 2 During the photo session, Kim stylist extraordinaire and Lisa make sure you look perfect for each shot whether it's coaching you on your smile and look, finding some fun venues and settings for the background, and keeping the day fun like you're just going out with your best friends. 3 Weeks after the photo session when Lisa reveals the photos, Lisa sets up a comfortable and warm setting to celebrate the results. Days before the photo reveal, she has a panel that ranks their favorite photos of you. Lisa is there beside you to give you your space to choose your photos while also giving input. As a client and customer, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. She definitely goes above and beyond expecatations. I consider Lisa, Kim, and Karen as some of my good friends now, and I look forward to the next time I sign up with Lisa Damico Portraits to do another photo shoot.

What can I say about my experience with Lisa other than the fact that she is just... Awesome! I would HIGHLY recommend Lisa to anyone looking to give themselves a fresh confident new look or just for the sake of that one business shot for your professional media. It was a pleasure working with Lisa, so professional, she had everything covered from start to finish, really all I had to do was smile. She helped me pick out some of my best looks using my own clothes, had a professional make-up artist help me look my best for every shot we took and just made the whole process worry free. When it came time to pick out my best shots, she had a group ready to vote on my best looks, just so we were able to get that crucial 2nd opinion of how others might view my shots. Even when it came time to settle on a price for my photo set, Lisa was fair and willing to help out where needed just to make the transaction smooth and friendly to the end. I came to Lisa for help giving me that new look I needed but I walked away with far more than I bargained for. Once again, I highly recommend working with her, you won't regret it.

I was nervous about having head shots done since I'm not usually a fan of most pictures of me. Lisa made the process easy and fun, however.
