Since our inception, LCB's goal has been to reinvent the bakeshop. Our products often make waves in the media as best in its class and we have developed several important partnerships along the way.
In 2007, one of LCB's owners was chosen by Al Gore's climate project. He was personally trained by the Vice President himself to be a certified climate lecturer.
The Wall Street Journal noted LCB as the world's first carbon neutral bakery. Following the success of our first shop in Brooklyn, in 2010, we opened our second flagship location in Nolita, on the corner of Prince and Mott.
In May 2011, we kicked off a partnership with Lauren Bush's FEED Projects to raise money for the crisis in Japan and fight hunger, raising enough money so far to provide over 10,000 meals to feed hungry children around the world. Our work has been featured in the NY Times, Vogue, and Vanity Fair.
Our store has also been featured in photo shoots; films; and advertising campaigns for GAP, Oprah Network, AT&T and Marie Claire China.
Little Cupcake Bakeshop was established in Brooklyn, New York on July 23rd, 2005. We specialize in baking traditional American desserts, using only the freshest ingredients, predominately sourcing locally, from farms in the Catskills, Vermont, New Jersey, and in strides, seasonally, with all baking done in small batches on-site, everyday. Each Little Cupcake Bakeshop is architecturally green.
