Very friendly and helpful staff. The campground is rustic like state campgrounds but with full hookup. The showers are older decor but clean. They have 2 dog play areas again older a bit rustic but useable. Due to being their late in the season I did not use the pool. I would stay there again.
Location and office was easy to find. Usually going to a koa they leave your site lights on and ours was not. A little hard to see site numbers with no lights on. Got to the location after a 8 hour drive and around midnight so the husband parked his motorcycle in front of the office. Get a knock on our door at 9 am about the cycle and some lady informed us that her manager already called a tow truck to come take it. Husband goes to move it and the manager thought it would be such a cute idea to pop his head out to notify him he "almost got us!" That he was "this close to getting it towed."what a great way to start our next 8 hour drive back home. Needless to say we travel all over the US and never had an issue with parking. Will never return and will never recommend. Hope management changes for this location
This is a very well run, quiet, and clean park - We have stayed here many many times over the past 10-15 years and have never had any issues. Management team is great, sites are nice, and close to many things to do.
This was the worst experience we have had since we moved into our RV full time. We pulled in, 3 couples in 3 separate RV’s. The first step in the door the manager, red headed woman, has an attitude. She’s giving attitude to a fellow member of our group who is waiting to make sure everyone gets checked in okay. She is in a rush to get us out to check in other families arriving, ok, fine. Then, we get to our spot and all start to hook up to our sites. 2/3 of us do not have power. We let the manager know, and they tell us we are wrong, “there was an RV there last night”. The maintenance man comes out and confirms after the manager was adamant that we were wrong that we do, in fact, have NO POWER. They finally agree to move one of us with no power to a new site, and let us know that even though we have no power, they will not be moving us. They then proceed to try and move ANOTHER FAMILY into the site they just moved our other group out of!!! We informed the new family that the spot they moved them into did not have power. It was a mess. Debby the NEWEST employee there!!!!! was the only competent person and the only person who tried to accommodate us. She was great. Thank you Debby. We ended up leaving, and the manager huffed and puffed about having to give us a receipt, and after two hours we were finally able to leave and go to a park with working power.
There is no Wi-Fi, yet it is says on their amenities there is. We asked twice and the women re-set router but that did nothing. The pictures of the rv sites are the only few nice ones for big rigs. Everyone else is put in the back of the site. This is my second experience with a KOA and if they are all like this we will NEVER go to another Koa campsite. People were nice, just not as helpful as I would have liked.
Well, out of the many KOA's I have stayed at across the country this is the first one I ran across that seemed to have lots of issues. No wifi, which is important to me since I homeschool. Well, they have wifi but it doesn't work at all, which means no wifi to me. The nights I stayed had an electrical problem and I had to switch sites at night, and just other issues. I had to cancel the rest of my reservation. It would be perfect for an overnight stay, but not for longer. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating and were trying their best. Hope they get it together soon.
This is a great place to stay for a couple of days. The staff was really friendly and everything appeared to be cleaned. They seemed to be working on cabins for in the future. We enjoyed our stay for one knight. Nice big beautiful trees!!
My husband and I had a pleasant stay here. Place was so packed we were lucky to get the last spot. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restrooms were clean.
This place is very loud with highway noise and has many full timers that do not care for their spaces so it looks trashy. The "dog park" is smaller than my front porch and has gravel not grass. I stayed here as an overnight stop but would not stay here again
Needed a quick stopover on our way south, was greeted and promptly shown to a pretty level site, was set up in less than 15 minutes for a good night sleep before hitting the road. Exactly what we needed!
