So this place does happy hour every day of the week. So bonus right there. Came in for a few drinks ended up getting some food. JR the bartender is so personable and friendly we didn’t want to leave. The food so good we had the mussels and they are so huge and delish. Im not a fan of licorice but was not over powering so i enjoyed. Also had the brie and was cooked perfect and we ate all of it. Finished with the calamari was good not great. But atmosphere service and food combo will bring us back not to mention JR
Tucked away on the corner, the Little Tap House is anything but. Great food, phenomenal drinks, and a wonderful staff. We brought our little with us and we're treated wonderfully. Our server was attentive and knew the menu inside and out. We had the swordfish, smashburger, calamari, and Nutella pudding for the perfect meal. Also. The back nine is one of those drinks you must order.
Delicious food, great atmosphere, and Bri was an awesome hostess/waitress/woman who does it all! We had a lovely evening and liked every single thing we ordered from the menu. I especially loved that you could order a small flight of local beers. I’d be happy to recommend Little Tap House to anyone : also the mussels were the biggest I’ve ever seen!
Cute little spot with great food. We started with scallops/urgent which was delicious. Then moved on to entrees- I got the swordfish. Loved loved the sauce and swordfish was cooked wonderfully. Also got a cucumber drink which was super refreshing and light. Very nice spot to grab dinner.
Tremendous service. The waitstaff was extraordinary and the food was great. They made you feel welcome right away. The menu was outstanding and the food truly met high standards that we have for anything calling itself “farm to table”. Can’t recommend this place more. Slightly away from the bustle of the downtown but absolutely worth the extra 2min walk. The staff answered every question and was clearly wanting to make sure you enjoyed every second of your stay.
Service was seriously slow. Seems to be oriented more towards having drinks than dinner out. Turned out not to be the right choice for a bite before a show at the nearby theater. Our buddy had to leave, he paid the tab and the waitress totally ignored us for the rest of the time, to the point that another waitress had to help us. The food was decent but overpriced.
Wonderful atmosphere! The people are kind, cold beer, good wine and AMAZING FOOD! So glad we found this place! Briana- thank you for saving the ball cap for us!! :
JR definitely was an experienced bar tender, for knew his stuff and kept up perfectly on our drinks and our order. The place is definitely well kept up and has great food available! My friend and I had the truffle fries and the truffle mac & cheese. Everything had been warm and delicious. Definitely recommend stopping by if your in the area looking for a smooth brew or nice cocktail! :D
Nice place and good beers. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar and really felt like we were bothering the barman by being there. Slow service and lots of grunts instead of words.
Cute little tap house in Portland. Wonderful staff knew our companions by name and welcomed all of us warming even waking in essentially at close. Great stop for a quick nightcap after a night out.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
