LIU Brooklyn - Long Island University

I decided to do my graduate degree in school psychology because they didn’t require a GRE. Worst mistake ever!!! They do not provide any support any assistance regarding the best path for you to take. I have to take courses that are not a requirement all because the courses that are for my degree they didn’t provide them either Fall or Spring Semester. Had to look for my own placement and all. Do not go to this school for a graduate degree.

I received my masters degree in accounting with distinction from Long Island University in 1976. It is a great university with powerful programs, best staff, and excellent education. I highly recommend it for those seeking best high education. Dr. Adel Khalifa

Try to find an other school.scammers !!!! All what they about is your money. I have to share my experience with this school like that tomorrow if something happens don’t blame the school… I took English classes back in 2014 that’s when I came to USA with 00 knowledge of how schools system works in here .. so that Arabic speaking lady that supposed to help me with my applications witch i thought she did unfortunately never helped with any especially fafsa. I attended 2 semester going to class every day like everyone else.after 2 years I received the letter from the collection agency that lIU own me 3000. It was a good surprise I contacted the school several time there was no help I decided to go I met with the same lady that did the application she is trying to avoid me I asked her u were supposed to tell me what’s going on with my application and now u have to help fix this problem she said I can’t do anything and walked away. I went to the financial aid department no help as well so mean I told them you have to tell me when I was in school that something wrong with my application or something. Just need to know that if attend the class I have to pay right way I mean while or before even start the classes. I think that’s how it should be. If I can’t pay for my classes and then I won’t go. Or if I decided to attend it will be my responsibility. Now they hired a law firm just to collect the money i really want to fight because I’m sure so many students got through this and many more will so be carful with this school please student Go else where. It’s not right to do this for anyone each yes is just not fair I see it as stealing and and is against the law.

Don't go to this school at all cost, they don't know what the hell there, doing they think cause they have there fake degrees they can come and talk to you anyway they feel like, this is one of the worst colleges I have been too, please do not go here, full of fake people.

I have loved everything about this university. I made some crazy good memories with some crazy good friends. I had the opportunity to meet some of the finest professors in the field of pharmacy over here. One of the legends that I got to met was Dr.Almas Babar. He has been teaching in this university for as long as I have walked this planet and he is an amazingly awesome teacher. I would highly recommend this university for pursuing pharmacy related studies.

It's a shame that they sold the land to build residential apartments. This school is used to be much better

If you like overpriced "education", rats and mice, developing mold and mushrooms in your dorm room then LIU got you covered, get the full package here at full price! You see the nice pics before you get here.. make sure you ask the students who go here before you sell your soul. In general the people are nice though!

Good place for learning English! I recommend this university for studying everyone who coming to Brooklyn at first!

I've applied to approximately 20 schools this past fall, and I would have to say LIU-Brooklyn has been the worst, and by a long shot too. First off, their admissions office is absolutely awful. The amount of times I've sent emails regarding changing what semester I would be starting, I never got a single email on this. I have emailed them multiple times and absolutely nothing. This school could careless about you, this is one of those schools who see you as money, don't waste your time even applying here. Also they just absolutely email and mail you stuff nonstop about applying to their school 24/7 and than they don't assist you what so ever. Again, I suggest you to apply else where. This school is also very overpriced and is definitely not worth the price tag. Go find another school you can do so much better.

I have nothing but great memories from my time at LIU Brooklyn. Managed the basketball team 1980-84. Graduated from Nursing school and spent time the military and had a very successful career. The infrastructure improvements at the school and the near by community seems to be amazing.
