My sister used to work there. It's a piece of KC history next to the old stockyards.
I love hanging out in the bottoms ..it's becoming g trendy with eaterys an brewerys
I love that people mostly artists pioneered a new use for this classic location. Really enjoy going to Open Studios to see what new works are happening and people are friendly for the most part. There are also nearby restaurants and such that keep it vibrant as the neighborhood opens itself to a new generation of gentrification.
Fabulous place to see amazing local fine art during the 2-3 scheduled open studios in an incredible historic building.
We had my sons wedding reception there.friendly staff, good atmosphere
Job very well done re-purposing this building but keeping so many original fixtures and decor. From the moment you walk in it's like you walked into a time capsule. You have to go to the room toward the back of the building where the original exchange board is located just to imagine what it would've been like back in the day. Bravo to the developers and others responsible for keeping this building true to it's roots.
Architecturally and historical building partially phased in remodel and restoration, preserving some interesting details. However exterior signage is lacking leading to confusion as to where to enter. Park in the rear and access to the right of the loading dock next to a gallery. Area has interesting possibilities.
A historic building converted to an office space, which means it shows its age a little, but overall a nice place. Lots of nice artwork around the halls since a lot of tenants are, you know, artists.
I rent a studio here and my business partner and I absolutely love it. The staff is pleasant and friendly, the building is beautiful. We couldn't ask for a better space.
Nice ambience & great drink menu, although a bit too pricey $10 for the apple cider yikes!
