Without doubt these pies are the best I have ever eaten! The crust is some sort of deliciousness that goes far beyond what is generally called pie crust; it is tasty and flaky. The fillings are all a bit extra, there is something that takes the flavor to the next level. Pie from Pie Life is my new favorite dessert!
It came highly recommended but I have to say we were not impressed. The crust wasn't buttery or flaky, the apple filling is ok just the right tarte flavor but a bit too much sauce. I still prefer the mom's apple pie at occoquan. And this is far more expensive too, including tax is $34!
Let's talk about the Mac & Cheese Pocket. If only Google allowed for 10 stars. The mac & cheese is exceptional. The pie crust... exquisite. One of the single greatest culinary creations available to humankind.
These pies were AMAZING. They held up well and were well worth their price. I would highly recommend the Salted Caramel Chess Pie. I had people begging for extra slices!
The cookies, the pie, the people. It's all amazing.
Excellent sweet and savory pies from Livin' The Pie Life. Just had the Peach Melba which was ridiculously tasty. The quiches are always good as well. They run out of different pies throughout the day, but I'm always happy with what I've tried.
It's been so hard to find a good bakery in Northern Virginia. This place right here is super authentic. Very delicious and flavorful. The crust is the right amount of flaky and the right amount of buttery. Highly recommend.
Best pie in the DC/VA area -- and scones only rivaled by some key bakeries in Ireland.
