Loved it. Bobby, Matt and Brian were great. Bobby lined up excellent bourbon choices for me and I knocked them down. They know brown. Food was excellent. Fried chicken sandwich is a revelation. Cool atmosphere. Good people. Came from the burbs. worth the drive. Loved it.
Stop in after Isaw the food taken outside seated customers. Food is out of this world taste, pork belly sliders , so many different flavors in a small inexpensive filling meal. Excellent. Great service. Specialty drinks , casual. I will return often .
Food was amazing! Loved the fried chicken bites. Didn't get to try any whiskey drinks but the Blackberry Gin Lemonade was delicious!
Great atmosphere with friendly staff who are attentive. The drinks were good and apps were decent. The fried pickles were good though. I got the burger for dinner and I was not impressed at all. The burger tasted frozen, dry and lacked luster. Just simply horrible; how do you get a burger so wrong? I would not go again, but if you do, you should stay away from the burger. The building looked well maintained and clean. Overall I was disappointed. I believe it was overpriced for what you get. The decent drinks and apps didn't overcome the horrible food and over priced bill.
Pork bahn mi sliders were stellar. Drinks are still. Prices are to be expected. Amazing playlist and cool staff.
Been to Lloyd before for happy hour but this was the first time for dinner. Drinks and service were really good but the food has a little left to be desired. The chicken wings and fried chicken sandwich were excellent but the vegetarian dishes were just not seasoned well over all. White bean toast needed a little salt/acid to brighten up and the beet/quinoa burger was grainy and had whole kidney beans in the patty. Might be a happy hour spot for us only in the future
As someone actually named Lloyd, my review is truly the only one that matters. For someone not named Lloyd, the waiter did give a very Lloyd-like positive attitude. I have to say that I was a little disappointed that the actual Lloyd of this establishment was not at the restaurant to greet a fellow Lloyd at the door…. but I digress… We began with the Lloyd Boilerplate Lloyd lager & Lloyd whiskey - A great Lloyd pairing… a Lloyd combo you could say. For dinner, I ordered the Lloyd Burger done Lloyd-style which was naturally excellent. You can’t name something like that and not be excellent TBH. There was an option for bacon and bacon onion jam which is very much Lloyd if you ask me Lloyd. The aesthetic of this place is very Lloyd. Good friends, good family, good food. I feel like they’re missing a big opportunity to have more Lloyds in the restaurant. Overall I’d say this is a very Lloyd-approved restaurant and would recommend this to anyone named Lloyd or anyone friends with a Lloyd.
Great drinks and food, definitely coming back
Typically when I get a waiter that circles back for orders, it takes roughly 4-6min; not in this case, which took 15min and some gesturing to capture their attention. It wasn't busy Sunday and my waiter kept blowing past me. I get it- When you're a minority other than black or white, you're at the bottom of the totem pole, especially if you come alone; expect to get delays especially in the Philly area. My waiter straightened up and turned it around as he picked up on what he was intentionally doing. The food was great but the service was horrible. Environment was great. During the night, as you walk into the space you immediately get lofi vibes; the roo m is dimly lit with decorative lights and chill music.
Vegan burrito was great, loved the whiskey selection and bar staff was great. Perfect little spot to hang out, grab a drink, and take the evening slow.
