The Canal Trail is fantastic for getting outside away from cars.
Nice historical marker. Visited during COVID, so we only saw the outdoor markers. Not sure if there is ordinarily more to see in the small historical building in the site
The path is shady and peaceful. I get a great power walk workout

Great history with small museum and along side the Farmington Canal Trails for walking, running and bike riding.
This is a great piece of history that has been restored/preserved. It has heavy locks gates that can be opened and closed by hand. It has a paved trail that runs alongside the lock as well. It is great for history buffs or just people who want to do a nature walk. It is peaceful and beautiful.
Nice stop to make along the trail.
