I’m glad we were given this place as a recommendation because no way would we have made it through the front door by our own choice. The outdoor area was absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing. I would say it is even kid friendly outside. Our teenager was with us and there was another family with little kids.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
I really wanted to like this place and I'm very torn on this rating. I'm here with two friends and our experiences were different but here we go! Pros -the blonde at the first bar at the entrance explained things fantastic, as it was my first time here and it's not a traditional restaurant/bar. -she also later helped me pick two beers and was very nice, also the beers themselves were fantastic. -i love the atmosphere and any place that allows and caters to bringing dogs. Again, I really wanted to love this place. -the lady that brought out the food was very sweet Cons -we tried ordering the seasonal cocktails, told we had to go back to the previous bar, get there, told they can't make them. Then when asked what they can make, "it's a full bar we can make anything" ok so why can't we make these cocktails from the menu? This doesn't add up. Tell us your out of specific ingredients don't con us through circular logic about what we can and can't get -food was average, bad for the price. Mac Attack came with mediocre Mac & cheese, tasted like something I'd microwave at home. Some meat that was firm and dry, and cold/dry but good looking onion rings. Queso had a nice kick, ok flavor, kinda lame for the price. Chips that came with it were posterchildren for uninteresting chips. -the food comes on metal trays, but with plastic cutlery. I get that it probably saves a lot of time having to only snag metal trays and not worry about anything else, but for this price I'd rather have some real cutlery. Same with the beers. I get it's outside, but the small plastic cups scream "college sports bar" and if I'm paying $7 for a beer I'd rather not feel like it's PBR at Jake's house.
Loflin's is great! The entire atmosphere is relaxing. There is a ton of outdoor seating as well as some indoor seating. They also have fire pits, Cornhole, and large screen TV's. You can even bring your dog if you wanted. I was impressed with how friendly the staff was. I ordered the chicken nachos, and they were very good. I'd definitely go back here. My nachos are half eaten in the photo. Oops...I dug right in.
Loved this place! It’s pet friendly, and the adult slushee was perfect for a hot day! We got the BBQ Brisket Nachos, and the Mac Attack, and both were amazing! You get a lot of food for the price!! Definitely a place to go visit! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the drinks and good they have. The yard was clean, had plenty of shade, with a waterfall and a bonus was being able to play corn hole! We will be back with more friends! Well worth the price!
Nice hidden spot in downtown Memphis. Well it was hidden from me. Went there for my niece graduation party. They have a outside patio that you can can sit out there to enjoy yourself and play cornhole. The Smoked Brisket was . The long island tea was ... I'm still feeling it..... I will be going back.
Stopped by for a holiday market, enjoyed wings and fries, quite a few other menu options like nachos and burgers. So many places to sit, this place is huge. Lots of outdoor tables and indoor or semi indoor spaces with really good space heaters even on a cold day. Tried the pirates of the Caribbean, loved it. Also tempted by this matcha drink, maybe next time. Decent bathrooms, friendly staff, good experience.
I’ve been going to this place for 6-7 years now and have really seen it come into limelight during Covid pandemic for its great outdoors seating maintaining safe distance from other seating areas, multiple bars on site, 3 separate outdoor seating areas and much more. Their fry’s, dare I say, are the best in Memphis according to me. Their social media team is doing great last few years putting this place on the map. I always felt it was underrated a few years back but now it’s totally getting it’s dues. The drink prices have definitely gone up, possibly partly due to inflation this year 2022 but froze was $15-16 and beer is ~$8-9. It’s no longer your low-key neighborhood bar, always crowded and lively atmosphere. I love this place. Highly recommend!
This place is so cool. I was just visiting in Memphis and was recommended this place by quite a few people, and I'm so glad we checked it out! I had brisket hash which was sooo delicious and some chips and queso. Queso was great. There was love music that was very cool and enjoyable and not too loud. The whole place has a great atmosphere and the employees were super nice. Definitely recommend Oh and I am gluten free and they accommodate and have options.
Nice spot with inside and outdoor space. Ordered the brisket which the portion size was larger than expected. Worth checking out, better with a group of friends to play Cornhole.
We really enjoy going here because it is one of the few places that we to go eat that has options that we prefer. We eat vegetarian/vegan. We love the BBQ nachos with the Beyond Beef vegetarian and the Beyond Beef Sausage PoBoi it has been out of stock lately but I hope they bring it back it is the Vegan option and it is GOOD as well! Plus this is the way we discovered they have some of the BEST season fries . Love the drinks, the outside atmosphere, Jackie knows our order when she sees our faces... I highly recommend
