So delicious! Fresh, fresh food, excellent drinks, outdoor seating was relaxing and the server let us sit and enjoy the beautiful Fall day in the city. The server was fantastic. Very attentive, and we even got a complimentary limoncello at the end of our meal! I had a cucumber and tomato chopped salad with feta, and The bread was incredible! Hummus wasn't recommended by my sister, she said it was bland. But everything else was so delicious! Yum! Yum! Yum!
Found this place on a random walk. There is not a usual brunch menu for weekdays. The brunch menu is only for weekends Coffee and Bellini were fine and the service was very good. Our server explained the menu and made sure we had coffee a few times. Refilled our coffee for free The soujouk is a great dish by itself but the cheese pastries need to be shared since they are very cheese and too much for one person. We shared both dishes and they complemented each other well. The best part was the complementary bread super fresh, full of dill and olive oil. The smell and taste just amazing!
Me and fiancee really enjoyed eating here . Nice ambiance - had the lamb sojouk and zucchini pancakes.small plates ,and chicken paillard aain course . We loved the lamb sojouk and zucchini pancakes - the chicken paillard and choco lava cakes were not bad . Would come again !Dine in: Yes
We had ordered grilled shrimp and chicken pillard- I liked the shrimp it was soft and tasty. We ordered it with homemade chips instead of salad, chips were like regular ones but i still liked it. The chicken should have been more juicy.
Very healthy yet delicious dishes. I loved the taste and cute decor. Great to sit outside in nice weather. Definitely coming back for more.
Have ordered take out here a number of times, the food is outstanding. We haven't dined at Lokal Mediterranean Kitchen in person yet but the restaurant is absolutely beautiful on the inside. The owners did a fantastic job with the decor. We'll definitely add it to our list of Upper West Side restaurants to visit in the future. Needless to say, I'd highly recommend it here. The food mostly importantly is excellent.
We used to love this place with their amazing Turkish/Mediterranean brunch and kids friendly space. However, they changed their menu and quality drastically over the last 2 years. Our last visit was the worst brunch in a long time. Menemen was just eggs floating in tomato juice. Kids menu looked microwaved. Scrambled eggs too salty and not enjoyable.
We ordered 3 dips; hummus, eggplant salad and spicy veggies. They came with warm bread. My favorite was eggplant salad. We ordered cheese pastries and they were fantastic!!! We skipped entree and got desert. Kunefeh was okay. The bottom was a little burnt and dry. Turkish tea was delicious! Overall pretty good minus kunefeh.
A fantastic meal while dining outdoors. The bread was fresh, and hot out of the oven. The french fries were crisp, soft on the inside, and not at all greasy. My entree was the salmon and it was cooked perfectly at medium-well.
Tasty Mediterranean. Great dips and big portions. Only 3 little stuffed grape leaves, though. And they advertised Krusovice on their website and menu, but didn't have it. Bummed.
