Longacres Nursery Center

I love love love plants, planting, gardening.. basically all things plants. So it's impossible to rate below 2 stars.. but this place had so many dying plants that's were outrageously overpriced. And the orchids had fungus that would have spread to my many orchids at home. They have fungus on many of their others plants. It was extremely depressing. I almost asked the owner if I could volunteer to care for the plants. I have a serious issue with plants dying and not being cared for in a place that's meant to care for them. I didn't buy anything out of fear of it spreading to my many other plants at home. They even have a sign which states, "don't brings plants from green house into this area to prevent the spread of bugs". I get that's there's bugs ... but the darn greenhouse door was 10 feet away and permanently open!

Great little greenhouses with various plants. Also has patio blocks and other various landscaping necessities.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Wonderful that a place like this has survived this area as long as they have and it goes to show you their reputation and loyalty.

They did not stand behind an evergreen tree that I purchased in the spring last year. I purchased three trees. One did not survive the winter. They cost me $150 dollars each. They said there not in the insurance business. I will not do business with longacres again.
