Went on two occasions with friends and definitely loved it! We needed to make reservations to ensure seating, although when I went on st Patrick's day you didn't get to pick the area to be seated in, inside or outside. On the outside seating which I did before, you don't hear the music that is played inside. They also have heaters which is great. The drinks are pricey, but good! Loved the strawberry froze. Food was great too! Enjoyed my experience both times when I went! Features: Check for vaccine card
This weekend my family came up to visit and we walked to the Loreley beer garden. Definitely get a pitcher of beer to share as well as a bunch of different apps. We ordered the wings, nachos, pretzel garlic knots, and burger sliders. Everything was extremely delicious and it was a nice way to spend the afternoon in NYC!
I went there during their rose festival and I admit the decor is very nice and instagrammable. We sat outside, not in the rose garden, and I thought it was still nice. I got the pretty in pink martini and it was okay. Didn't taste as good as I expected. My husband got a draft beer and he seemed to enjoy it. We also got the guacamole and chips. I was nicely surprised by the guacamole, it was actually fresh, and well seasoned. I also liked the chips, they were crispy and the right amount of salty. The service was average. Even though they were really busy, someone was there to check in on us but just not as frequently. At some point, when the night got busier, our service got worse and I know we would've ordered more drinks and food if someone was checking in on us more often. Note: In the bar area, the floors are sticky and it feels like a dingy bar but if you're outside or in the garden it's really nice.
Food & drinks: 4 Staff: 5 Environment: 5 Interesting German inspired beer garden in lower Manhattan! The sausages and drinks were great, though pricy. The staff was super friendly and they had great interior and exterior decor! They have dividers outdoors to separate different parties for Covid safety, though I think more heaters can be added since it can get pretty cold and the food and drinks cool just as quickly.
So I have come here twice within the past month. The first time all of the fall decorations were up and then when I got there for my party, all of the Christmas decor was up. Made my heart super happy. I came for my birthday and we so much fun. Threw on the music, dance a little, ordered food and drinks. It was great and would definitely recommend.
This place is GREAT for hanging out with friends and getting a fun, Instagrammable drink, but it is a bit pricey at times. You are definitely paying for the atmosphere more than the food, but the food is also not bad. It’s just good. Festive drinks are an added plus, like the boozy hot cocoa I got. The heated outdoor garden is extremely well heated, I didn’t need to wear a jacket in the 30s which is awesome. Overall a fun time, but don’t expect the best meal of your life.
We were seated outside and were pretty much ignored for the most part. The server took forever to come back and it seemed like a lifetime before we even placed our order. The beer finally arrived and was pretty good. The food was another story. It looked good up front but was just ok, nothing special. Way too expensive for the plain food and service was lackluster. We had to hunt down our server so we could pay the tab. Wish I could’ve loved it.
This was a cute little place in Brooklyn. Great vibe for just drinks or to grab a bite to eat. I had the Loreley Burger on this trip it was delicious. It offers outdoor and indoor seating. It was packed wall to wall the entire time my party and I were there. I will definitely be back to try some of the German options on the menu!
Large German restaurant with nice setting and lively ambience. Both the indoor and patio area were spacious and beautifully decorated. Loreley offers an interesting array of menu items, that you won't find at your more typical brunch spot. I had the schnitzel & eggs and the avocado toast, and the strawberry frosé to drink. Both dishes were very delicious and tasty. The schnitzel was a great combination of sweet and savory, and had a unique flavor profile.
A cute spot and good eats. We had a table outside and the weather was glorious. The strawberry pecan salad was delish and hit the spot. The service was cordial and inviting. I was rather surprised that the restaurant was cooled well despite the doors were opened into the garden. Note: you do have to prove your age before entering. The cheesecake was a tasty birthday treat. More
