Lotus Isle Park

Much bigger than you think it is from the road. Nice grassy finger that sticks out into the slough. Unfortunately, the freeway noise was pronounced when I was there. Still a nice evening. Look for the remnants of the old street car trestle when you are there.

This is a tiny City Park about the size of one city block. It has a bench at the far end - nicely shaded by an oak tree. In the middle the park there is a playground and a picnic bench. Nice view of Island Cove floating bome community. You can walk down the bank to a short span of sandy beach. It is the only beach with public access on Hayden Island. Often used as a place to launch stand up boards and kayaks. This park is used as a off-leash dog park and potty by many of the locals. Get food from the catering truck on the corner a quarter mile before you get to this park.

It's like they forgot to keep going when they made this park. You're greeted by a path and a play structure closer to the street, but as you follow the path, eventually it just stops. It doesn't go anywhere. Getting off the trial lets you step out to see views of the river that are more industrial than picturesque. It's nice to have a green space, but this park isn't much more than that.

I love this quiet little park, but I give it only 3 stars, because it's too small for a bunch of visitors, and I don't want a bunch people coming to it, making noise, and scaring off the fish.

Tiny park on Hayden island with a small play ground and grassy area. It has access to the water via a small, steep beach. I use it as a river access spot to launch my kayak and paddle around amongst the float homes. It's perfect if that's what you're looking to do. Otherwise, not a lot going on.

Nice views, beautiful parks and homes. Lucky if you have a friends who live here and invite you to visit. Calm, peaceful, rustic chic on the water.

Nice small spot with grass and great views!

Lotus Isle Park is a great place to relax and take the dog for a little stroll. The Columbia River flows West to the coast and is directly South of the park. It's a nice place to sit relax after some of the many great shopping attractions that Hayden Island has to offer with the Red Lion conveniently located there and has plenty of lodging if you decide to make it a night. With I-5 access you can't go wrong.
