I would fire my staff if they acted like this. As a business owner, customer service is extremely important to me. I walked in with my sister a few weeks ago and was looking around at the front of the store. The 2 sales girls were finishing up with a customer, but looked up when they saw us walk in. No one said hello. Even after the customer left, they didn't speak to us. I continued to try on a scarf and look at jewelry, but they were so engrossed in their very "personal" conversation that they didn't offer help or say hello. After 10 minutes or so, I said to my sister, "You now how I feel about customer service" and she nodded and we proceeded to leave. Upon walking out,I looked back at the girls and said, "Thanks so much for all your help" and they said, Ok, sure , have a great day! I don't know if they were joking or just plain clueless.
I walked in twice to browse and to try on a sweater vest. I was never greeted. When I returned with my daughter to make the purchase, I joking said to the "customer no service " sales girl, "You didn't expect me to buy anything did you"?......she said " no"! How rude and stupid. The staff really need training or replacing!
A lot of people are saying that no one talked to them or acknowledged but that's exactly what I love about this place. No one following me around asking me questions. I was able to take my time to browse through and find what I was looking for, I even actually bought some things even though I was originally just looking. If you like taking your time and not having customer service asking you to hurry up and buy something, this is the place for you!
BUYER BEWARE...Like many others here, the $65 necklace broke on first use and upon return, the store will only exchange or give store credit per strict "policy". The employees "only work here" and are not empowered to help. Aparantly Ben and Tara Wegdam have a business built on finding cheap items, selling at a big markup and not allowing a refund. Im posting this as a Buyer Beware, as this goes against sucess in todays retail environment, which is focusing on the customer - providing options and a great experience. We will see how long they last with this formula, in the end it will not work
I got a bracelet and watch. This store was really cute and the employees were nice. I am going to order more online.
They say they open at 11 on Sunday. I waited till 11:15 and no one showed up.
Why is it so hard to show simple interest while you're at work?
