This is a letter of reference for Ms. Sheila Martin. Sheila served as a caretaker and
sitter watching over my father four days out of the week while my father was in
hospice care as a cancer patient during the month of January 2017. Sheila came
highly recommended by the staff at Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care. After
interviewing several candidates for the position, Sheila came out as the candidate
that I felt the most comfortable with for taking are of my father.
During the course of her work, Sheila was extremely professional and a pleasure to
work with. Sheila was always prompt in showing up at the agreed upon time and
paid very close attention and tender care to my father during this final month. Sheila
had a very positive attitude and would always go above and beyond in looking for
ways not only to help my father but to also help the family. She would always offer
to help my mother to offload some of her household work so that she could rest.
I highly recommend Sheila as a care taker and sitter and would not hesitate to work
