Lovelady Thrift Store is a thrift store that has anything you would want or need. The clothes look good and most of the purses are designer bags. They have very nice shoes also. All of the items for sale there are in great shape . The only drawback is their prices. Not that their merchandise isn’t worth the prices, but most people who shop at thrift stores are looking to get better bargains than the ones at Lovelady. So if you’re interested in buying items that are in better shape than you would normally find at thrift stores, Lovelady is the place to shop. However, if you’re going expecting the normal prices seen in thrift stores, this is not the place.
Decent thrifting if you want to spend major money. Almost everything aside from clothing is 80% of original price. 200$ for an ottoman? 30$ for a small trinket holder? 130$ for a toolbox set originally 160 at Walmart? 80$ for a patio set missing a chair but is 120$ at Walmart for a full set. These people are ripping off the community, whoever prices things needs to be fired promptly. Don't bring your things here, don't buy anything here.
This is a very clean store and absolutely huge! I love that they have plus sizes so well organized- you rarely find that in thrift stores. Most general merchandise I found to be pretty well priced, but pricing did fluctuate pretty heavily among items. It definitely wasn't on the super expensive end though. Definitely a must-visit if you like looking around and taking your time!
I've been giving donations here for several years but after this past week, never again. I called Monday 5/20 to donate a leather sectional and was told they would come pick up Wednesday 5/22 but it would be an all day 9-5 appointment which would hold me at home all day. The woman there said I would get an email on Tuesday to confirm, which never happened. They no-call, no-showed. This morning at work, I get a call from them asking if I wanted to confirm tomorrow and reminded her that was supposed to be last week. She replies, "Yeah, we had to reschedule you!" So, basically, I stayed home all day for nothing. I told her I went with someone else since I was never contacted. She said, "Well, sorry!" and that's when I ended the call. If you plan to have them pick up for you, proceed carefully.
Wayyy overpriced! They have some nice things though. Nothing interesting was under $15 even with 50% off. They need to chill on the prices. Till then, I’m not going back.
Shopping at a thrift store when looking for a specific item can be challenging. Today I found exactly what I wanted. The store was clean and all the displays were attractive. All the workers are so friendly!
I use to like this store, but whoever decides pricing has lost their mind. I have been to many thrift stores and never seen prices this high. Here is an example from the book section
I buy clothes and stuff here. Nice store, friendly folks
Great place. Friendly staff. They have good clothes for great prices.
Very well organized, but the prices were outrageously High! Some items were priced higher or same as buying new. While checking out cashier asked if I’d like to donate a $1.00. Absolutely NOT! Very disappointed.
