Lowe's has always been my go to for lumber and other things for projects. Customer support is good and prices are ok.
My water heater busted over the weekend and I don’t have a lot of knowledge with water heaters, but Phil that works in that section took the time to answer my questions and show me what to do. Even though he had more customers waiting on him, he didn’t rush with me. I was able to replace my water heater and it was a huge thanks to Phil!!!
I'm always visiting this location for either myself personally or with my clients. Always good customer service and tidy facilities
Reliable home improvement spot for the west side, right at the Maple and Ridge intersection. Pricing has always been good at Lowe’s and I’ve had some assistance at this store that went above and beyond regular retail. Great outdoor garden center that has a poor indoor plant section. The hardware portion of the store is well organized and easily shoppable, with a fairly reliable amount of staff to ask for help. The registers flow decently too, lacking maybe another checker. My last comment on the store is that they need to simply beef up security at that entrance. I’ve been about run over and had serious confrontations twice this summer involving thieves rushing out of those front doors and there was nothing but crickets on the Lowe’s end of both instances. I don’t want a third time so I sometimes drift elsewhere. But overall the store is solid and has put out its annual selection of awesome Halloween decor.
My fiance and I were having such a hard time finding someone to install a new exterior front door and storm door for our home. Especially for a reasonable price! So we decided to try Lowe's. For a very good price they installed a great pair of doors. Installers were incredible, on time, very professional and did an amazing job. We are extremely pleased!! Thank you Heaven, our sales rep at Lowe's. You're awesome!!!
People are friendly and they trying their best but lack of good organization and poor management is visible everywhere, products stored outside in yard everywhere not properly marked/labeled ?? Sign saying receiving start at 7:00 but actually they told me it is 8:00 am , Just not good place to deliver, take forever to unload
DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOWES. I've never seen the seasonal depart look so unorganized! Came in for a Christmas tree and lights and was so repulsed by the lack of care I ended up taking my business elsewhere. The artificial trees were thrown around completely random in their greenhouse. I couldn't find the one I wanted so asked an employee who walked me back to where they were saying they were still in stock. Took a minute to realize they were just out of order and found the tree on the other side of the mishmashed pile of boxes. When I went to the lights it was even worse. Same lights were spread out in random spots of the light aisle. Not only did it look awful it made browsing the area a nightmare. The gaps of space, and again lights in totally random order you'd think I was shopping in a going out of business Walmart. I asked another employee up front about what's happened and he said there's been a recent change in management and cut in hours for employees. This has definitely been for the worse. Why do businesses keep thinking they can get away with having nobody with experience running their stores? Oh! Not to mention while I was browsing the shovels in the greenhouse I noticed there was an entire Christmas bow display untouched. Probably because it was shoved all the way in the back by non Christmas merchandise. To anyone reading this if you need bows for next year I'm sure the full collection will all be clearnced out very soon.
I ordered 52 garden stones and 60 bags of pine bark mulch at the Lowe's in N Maize Rd on Monday 7/8/24. They quickly filled the order and it was ready to go on Friday 7/12 /24. Everything was going well. After finishing the project we took back 26 bags of mulch to the Lowe's on S Ridge road close to where we were going to eat lunch. For about 45 minutes they tried to get me a refund but could not because the computer said my order had not been picked up. So, they loaded back up my product and went back to Lowes on N Maize Rd. An employee by the name of Stacia figured out why Stacia figured it out. When we picked up our order we were not given a paper that recorded we had picked up our order. It was very frustrating. We were at wits end. Thank you Stacia for what you did on our behalf. We were able to get out refund. In our book you are a 10!
As a contractor I shop at all three of the big box building material stores. The location in Derby is not well managed, when picking up drywall I had to remove several sheets to reach product that wasn't damaged. This was on both 4x8 lightweight 1/2" drywall & on moisture resistant sheets. I did have an associate help move the damaged sheets off to a cart in the aisle. I was surprised that those same damaged sheets were still on that cart 2 weeks later, when I again needed drywall. I really hope this isn't top-down corporate policy to try to offload damaged goods to save corporate dollars. Menards stores are much more organized & I don't have to dig for undamaged goods
Every time I come here, there’s no carts in the garden center, it’s just a simple thing to get some back there for customers. I found them down by the lumber.
