Memphis City run. Provides a place for seniors to have classes for Spanish, writing, crafts, pool tables, lunch room with $4 meals, dance lessons and more...

So far, I've called this center twice and gone by twice. The first time, a man answered who said he's the director. He was unfriendly and had no knowledge of the programs there, telling me I had to come by to find out. Since I work during the week, (and was getting the info for Mom) I went by on the weekend. I walked in, and saw a man sitting at the desk, and a handful of women milling about in the gym behind him. He told me they were closed and were only there for a party. He had the same unfriendly voice as the man on the phone, so I assume it was the director. When I called other numbers listed on the site as directors of bridge, I was told to call the one person who's listed number is clearly not a valid phone number. So, when I called the center for a correct number, I was told they don't give out numbers to strangers (except, apparently, on their website, where the numbers can be viewed by anyone anywhere in the world).
