Went to this store to get prime rib that was on sale. Have never cooked it before. The butcher was very helpful in helping me pick a cut of meat and even instructions on cooking it. Turned out beautifully. Thanks for all the help.

This is a basic, inoffensive grocery store. It has all of the things you would expect it to have, at generally reasonable prices. I give it 1 extra star for the barbeque they do in the summer. The meat is good, but it's swallowed by too big of a roll. I personally like Safeway better, but I have never seen a reason to avoid this location.

My experience here was terrible. Went in to pick up a chicken dinner meal at the deli. There was several people waiting to be service, it took the person ( heavy set young guy with short hair.) behind the counter 10 min to even acknowledge me and the other people waiting and all he could say was " I'll be with you guys soon as you can see I'm the only person back here." I would completely understand if he's the only person working and he was helping another customer. But the entire time he was making a sandwich for another one of your employee (heavy set girl with brown hair.) and they were just chit chatting. Even when that girl went behind the counter your customer wasn't getting service. You would think your customer would be more of a priority... Either way I got fed up and left. Won't be coming here anymore

This Lucky location is my go-to! I live closer to the Snell location but Bernal is bigger, more organized, always stocked, and the staff is amazing. This location has the best customer service and happiest employees. They actually help when they see you need help without having to ask them. Judy went above and beyond today and helped me with my items out to the car because my daughter was getting fussy. She is so sweet and has great customer service and deserves either a raise or promotion. Thank you guys for helping get me out right before it started to rain! You all rock!

Been coming here for a long time. I think they don't have many selections like Safeway or Nobhill when it comes to organic stuff and just other things in general. The produce isn't as great either. It is convenient that it's only across the street.
