Luke Air Force Base

Disappointingly inefficient access process. Making truck drivers sit in the visitor center with visitors, waiting to get background check done so we can get on base and load. Really? Unbelievably stupid method. Not to mention forcing us to park on a major, high-speed road and walk across unguarded traffic just to get to the center to stand and wait for 1.5 hours. I assume you don't realize that we are on limited time that is electronically monitored. This is a disgusting, insulting waste of our limited time. Thanks bunches for the inconsideration.

My dad served here for a few years and we loved it. Only issue was they would blast F-16 engines without flying. But overall I loved it here. #SupportOurVets

My husband and I purchase some bed sheets that were on sale at the exchange Beautiful pattern and color. When we put the sheets on the bed They were very loose, and look Terrible on the bed. Now I understand why they were on sale. They were not the best quality sheets.

Really tired of seeing men in uniform violate the rights of citizen journalists. You are supposed to protect our rights not step on them. Do you not understand your oath? To see a man assaulted by one of yours while your own mp stand by and watch is disgusting. You must have some grade a morons in charge there. You keep earning hatred when you should be earning our respect.

We've stationed at several bases and I don't know if we just lucked out or what but this has definitely been an adjustment to how different this base is. One, there is hardly anything open for families (no theater, bowling alley, etc). There are two pools but like public pools are only open from may-septemebr even though it's hot as balls here from march-nov. Communication could be better for events that do happen on base. And last, again, not sure if we lucked out but man, the jet noise is in-sane! There were many times I thought our windows were going to shatter from the noise vibrations of the jets. Also, before old housing was torn down, they opened it for civilian police training so there were explosions constantly throughout the day. Its an okay base. Definitely on the bottom of all the others we've been to when it comes to being family-friendly and communication of events.
