I was so hopeful that I would be able to leave a good review. Larry provided such great service during the purchase of the flooring. Everything since the purchase has been horrible. I purchased laminate flooring in April 2021. The flooring was installed in May 2021. Molly and crew were the installers. One man can't remember his name came out and had our flooring installed in 1.5 days. Floor looked nice and we were pleased. Fast forward to winter, our floors started separating, like big gaps separating. We called the store and spoke with Larry initially. He apologized and sent an email right then to the installers and said they would give us a call. Waited a week, no call. Called the store and spoke with Larry again, got the same story, they would call us back. Waited another week. Long story short, we called the store weekly x6 weeks until a different gentleman gave us the installers personal number. We called the installers several times, sent pics, etc and FINALLY got a response from the "head of the company." Installers came back out to "fix" the problem and only made it worse. As be was leaving, he said "that happens with bad product." I was under the impression that I had purchased a quality product with great reviews...thats what was said in the store prior to purchase. Within a day, the floors started to separate. We tried calling and reporting the problem again, however, we continue to get the run around. Now here we are today, I have huge gaps in my floor and have to hire someone else, spend even more than the $7300 I already spent, just to have the floors repaired. My father-in-law just purchased a home and asked me who he should use to replace all the floors in his 3700 sq ft home. Unfortunately, I had to tell him to avoid LL flooring if he wanted a quality install. Super disappointed in my floors. Makes me sad every time I walk in and see my floors. I worked hard to get the money to pay for the floors and this is what I'm stuck with.
The dock is not easy to back a 70' tractor trailer into. Tandems on the trailer need to be all the way back for starters. Blind side back with many stops and checks on progress. Small moves up and back to maneuver the trailer between the lines. Pretty darn tough and tiring. Lots of patience is needed for this and yourself. It's doable, just takes awhile.
Unfinished and hazardous work!!! LL Flooring sold me partial materials to complete a job and after over 80 text messages, calls and emails they still have not completed the job!!! Even contacting the main company has yielded no real help. AND we’ve all fallen down our stairs at some point due to loose stair noses! Our patience has worn out. Our lawyer is the next step! This is ridiculous!
The associates at the West Little Rock location saved us a second 100 mile trip to Little Rock. The flooring we had started our project with an entire house had been updated and would not have matched our flooring as the planks were wider than ours. Fortunately, they had just what we needed and offered to try other stores to find more if that was not enough to complete our project. Highly recommend this location! They are great to work with!!
With Each trip to this LL store I am more pleased than before. Excellent products and superb staff. Winning combination.
I would have bought the floor if he didnt try to up-sell me so hard on stuff I never asked for nor wanted. He put the items on my bill without asking. I had no idea he was putting supplies on my bill w/o my consent. I never asked for glue, I never asked for trim, I never asked for vapor barrier, etc. Nor did I need it. He just added items on MY bill without asking me! Unbelievable!!! Who does that? Had to listen how he was a carpenter, worked at lumber yard, home depot etc. Didn't care. He was trying to sound credible so I buy more stuff I did not need want or ask for. It was really annoying! I told him I laid these floors several times. Dont need his up sells or his unsolicited/unwarranted guidance. Then I asked about the military discount and he said with the military discount the floor is $1.88 a ft. That's a military increase! Floor was only $1.64 a ft on sale. He said someone changed the stickers around. No look at your add!! Its been advertised over 2 weeks! Then he said he discounted my glue. What glue? I never knew it was on the bill. Never asked for it. Nor did I want it. Ill never go back! He ran me out of the store with his up-sells! There is a way to up-sell tactfully with recommendations. Just putting items on MY bill without asking me is not the way to do it. Very, very obvious they get paid on commission. Update: purchased about 2500’ of flooring at Lowe’s. Never tried to upsell me on anything. Got what I needed and walked out. So simple. This is the only 1 star review I have ever left in my life. But when a person try's to take advantage of you..I think its earned. Be careful. Truly disappointed.
I had the best experience today with this company. This morning I purchased my flooring and it was delivered by the end of the day by Brian. I have been working on my first home remodel and have been so nervous about the entire process. It was refreshing to have a good experience and to meet good people along the way.
Excellent store for selection and price. Both times I have purchased flooring for them I have been extremely satisfied. They are very knowledged in flooring and installs. Gave me great tips on how to save money. They have nice cleaning products as well. I will use them again in future.
I had a great experience every step of the way with LL: Price and selection were what I was looking for, and their system of notifying by emails about their upcoming process and then following up with a phone call was reassuring. The installers were competent, punctual, and very easy to work with. Super company!
