When I took a tour of Lycee Montessori School there few days ago couple of things that I noticed that I want to share: First the School director was excellent knowledgeable hand on with teachers, staff , children and parents. Each room that I saw– infant, toddler, transition, – has had a skilled lead teacher as well as responsive and attentive assistant teachers. The activities are very broad, making the experience fun and educational as well. I loved the fact that they had a little gardening boxes where children were taught to plant and enjoy the flowers grow. I highly support the mission and program of the school and recommend it to anyone. I express a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took time to give a such a wonderful tour.
We decided to send our daughter to Lycee following the suggestion of our coworker that did extensive research and have been very happy with our decision. In the beginning we were very concerned in sending our first born, but every staff member has been very patient and understanding in helping our child transition into the daycare routine. It has been 10 months since our child started going to Lycee and we are seeing a lot of improvements in her behavior and are very happy with her development milestones. Lycee has been very good in communicating daily/weekly/monthly lesson plans/activities and I have yet to find any issue that we could not resolve. Ms. Noor and the rest of admins have been very attentive to our needs. I absolutely recommend Lycee for your daycare needs in the Cypress area.
Our son is currently enrolled at Lycee and has been for a full year now and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! We have noticed such a change in our son from following directions, his confidence in himself, to his speech with him coming home telling us what he learned about that day. The curriculum and activities are wonderful. The teachers and admins have always been such great communicators, whether I call and ask a question, ask a question through their app, or face to face it is always answered almost immediately or investigated then answered. Every morning as we are getting closer to school and when my son notices he always says “my friends, my friends!” and that alone tells me he is being treated well, learning, and having fun. I have recommended Lycee before and I will do it in the future.
We absolutely love Lycee Montessori. My daughter is in the Buttercup Class and she loves her teachers and friends! The teacher and administrators are so kind and passionate about their jobs. Our daughter has thrived and we see a difference in her development every day. We couldn't be happier. They also love my daughter, which is hard to find in childcare facilities these days. I can tell they are passionate and it truly makes a difference!
We've been a part of the Lycee family since 2017, and it has been a joy to watch both of my children thrive as Montessori kids. I started my oldest child at Lycee when she was about two years old. I chose Lycee because 1 I had researched about the Montessori method and knew that was what I wanted for my kids, and 2 after touring several other schools around the area, we felt the environment would be a good fit for us. At first, my oldest child had a difficult time transitioning from home to school life, but the teachers and staff at Lycee were extremely caring and patient with her. Slowly, she started to make friends and build confidence. When my second child was born, it was an easy decision that we would enroll both our children at Lycee. I feel that the staff truly cares, and takes time to listen and address parents' questions. Whenever we had concerns with our children's development or behavior, we reached out to the school, and scheduled 1-on-1 conferences with their lead teachers and/or the director. They would always listen to our concerns, provide recommendations and offer reinforcements. When the pandemic hit, we felt scared and uncertain about many things. The school communicated their new safety protocols, which helped eased some of our fears as we sent our children back to school. I highly recommend Lycee and will continue to enroll my children at Lycee.
Our daughter has attended Lycee since she was just a few months old. 2 years later she still loves everyone there! She is excited to go to school every day and play with her friends and is all smiles when I pick her up. It always amazes me how much she learns every day there. I enjoy getting updates on the app and sometimes photos. It’s great being able to log on and see what she’s up to in class whenever I want. The staff is so sweet and always goes above and beyond for these little ones! Very thankful for every one there!
We chose Lycee because it has the highest Montessori accreditation in the Cypress area that I could find. Our experience has been wonderful! They have a Montessori facilitator/consultant there to ensure their practices are in-line with the Montessori approach, and I love that they practice a growth-mindset for themselves. Everyone who interacts with my child has been loving and patient, and their team provides a clean and enriching environment for their students. The teachers have been amazing communicating with us and have never skipped a beat supporting my child's vegan diet. Icing on the cake--music lessons from the start! I love knowing someone is helping my baby learn half notes while I'm at work.
Both of our children go here and have since they were infants. The staff is amazing and we love seeing our children progress each week with the curriculum. The owner is always there and has a huge passion for the children's learning and development. We love it here
My son has been going here for over 6 months now . I have only great things to say about his teachers, the directors and overall experience there. They truly put an effort into the kids with entertaining and teaching them new things. My son learned to sit up, clap and crawl a lot earlier than other kids and its because of his teachers who would constantly put an effort into it. I appreciate how they have cameras, which honestly I barely look at but its nice perk to have especially when it comes to your kids. I will continue sending my son here as it has been such a good experience so far!
My son has been a student at Lycee for over two years including during the pandemic. The school remained opened in 2020. The teachers and staff worked diligently to follow and exceed state guidelines in order to keep the school clean and safe during a pandemic. This was not an easy or inexpensive task. I appreciated the service Lycee provided to me and my family during the pandemic. I was an essential worker and was not able to homeschool my child. I will always be grateful for the safety and security Lycee provided me and my family. In two weeks my son will be attending kindergarten at a private school and Lycee will still be there by providing transportation to his new school. Lycee was there for me and my family during a difficult time and will continue to serve our family. During these uncertain times of Covid, I highly recommend Lycee to care for your child. Lycee provides a quality education and a safe and clean environment.
