Best chili dogs around in a unique way place. Sweet pinball as well! Worth the drive
I had come here so many times in the past with my friends for the great fun and livations, but today was the first time that I came during the daytime to try out their food. I arrived almost right when they opened, and there weren't any customers yet, but the guy watering the plants outside introduced me to their breakfast menu. Who would have thought they they had an actual breakfast menu. After checking out, I noticed one of my favorite food items on there, called the breakfast burrito. It has the most common ingredients. Like sauteed peppers, onions, and jalepeno peppers, but I also requested tomatoes and bacon for the burrito. After I placed the order, I just chilled on their outdoor garden style patio. The patio has a lot of plant life, which I enjoyed. Soon enough, my order was ready, and I was off to he races! The e burrito itself was enough food for two meals for me! This place is awesome on so many levels!
The best night I’ve had in a while! Highly recommend this bar, it is so fun, laid back and has a great crowd. They have many pinball and old fashioned arcade games which turned me back into a 10 year old kid again. Amazing spot!
Nice spot. Very good bar food. They even have Taylor Ham from Jersey! Good pinball machines in great working order. Nice bartenders. Good crowd.
This place is the best - a true bar. Great selection of pinball machines, which are maintained well. Offers reasonably priced beers, ranging from craft brews to $3 Hamm's cans. Tried the hot dogs on pretzel buns as well - awesome. Cool clientele and very laid back vibes...haven't been to a better bar in DC.
Made a brief stop at this lively Columbia Heights bar. They have a solid beer selection but with a limited draft list. The food menu was my main interest and I ended up ordering a hot dog and chips. Went with an American classic picnic dog with Ketchup, mustard and relish. They have more unique and interesting takes on hot dogs so I'll have to return for more research!
A very small bar with pinball machines but few are worth playing. There's barely any space in here so people crowd around the pinball machines leaving little room to play. It's sad to see pinball machines with people leaning on them while their drinks sit on top of the glass. I didn't see the bartenders tell anyone to stop doing that. This is the only place I've been to in 2022 that is still enforcing a nonsense mask policy. They want you to wear a mask when you order from the bar or when you're playing pinball. Meanwhile, anyone not doing either of those things is ok to talk loudly without a mask at the bar or right next to the pinball machines. Do these people really think this is serving any purpose other than being an annoyance in a bar this cramped?
Great spot to grab a beer, play some pinball, and enjoy a delicious Roast Beef and Cheddar sandwichof course it's on a soft onion roll!.
Great outdoor space and super cozy inside. Decent draft list as well! Bartenders were all very attentive and pleasant.
Cheap drinks, good friends, pinball. Classic DC industry bar.
