I am an employee, as well as a parent at Lyndon Academy. I was employed first. Although I did not have any issues with Cherokee County schools, I decided to enroll my daughter at Lyndon. I was worried because of the challenge it would be for her to catch up with the pace. The teachers were very involved and patient, and offered needed tutoring. This is her second year, she's in 5th grade, and she has made honor roll every quarter! She is in band, she's learning a new language, she absolutely loves it here. She will be entering middle school with the academic and social development she needs to succeed. Hands down, the best decision my husband and I made! No school is perfect, neither are teachers, but Linda does a fantastic job finding the right fit for the needs of the students. She loves those children as if they are her own. I have seen her cry both tears of joy and sadness when something happens with our students. Linda also takes genuine personal interest in us, staff and faculty. I know first hand. We are like one big family. Feel free to go on their website or take a tour to find out what they offer. Look at the faces of the students and employees....It will speak volumes. Lyndon Academy is not just a great school, with an awesome staff, it is a small business. Businesses will have ups and down, turnovers, and economic strains. Some will be due to situations beyond their control, some may be self inflicted. Lyndon Academy will experience these, but as long as they continue to face them head on, improvise, adapt, and overcome, they will succeed. I witness it everyday. My message to Linda and all of Lyndon Academy, "Keep winning!" I am proud to be a part of Terrier Nation.

After conducting much research on private schools in the area, we concluded that even the STEM schools can not outpace the math and science programs at Lyndon. The curriculum goes above and beyond the norm in Georgia. We then discovered that the Music Director is nothing short of amazing. He has more than half of the eligible students excited about playing in the band or participating in music in some way. Next year, the kids are singing the National Anthem at Turner Field. Then there are the visual arts, electives and foreign languages. The language arts programs are unmatched. My kid gets Mandarin and Spanish daily. His cognitive reasoning and communication skills have soared. Take a tour, make a call, but don't pass up the opportunity to check this school out.

I love every aspect of Lyndon Academy. The trilingual program that includes Spanish and Mandarin offered at a young age, the committed teachers that love what they do and truly care about our kids, their education and overall well-being, the small size classes, the smooth and friendly communication with teachers and administration, the fantastic art and music program, the smiling faces all around, the technology used to teach in each classroom, how this School truly wants your child not only to be academically successful but a global, responsible, inspiring and loving adult. But, what I love the best about Lyndon is seeing my kid getting excited and looking forward to going school every single day and growing so much in so many areas! Don't take my word for it... Just experience it by yourself.

My daughter has been enrolled for 2 years at Lyndon Academy. I can not say enough how remarkable this school is. The staff and teachers have become more of a family to us than just a school where my daughter attends. The curriculum is outstanding. I encourage anyone seeking a private education to speak with Mrs. Murdock..you won't be disappointed!!
