Wonderful surprise to find on the Lower East Side and lovely tribute to those who were buried at the nearby Second African Burial Ground in NYC. You can tell the garden is lovingly maintained. Visitors can stroll through or find a place to sit and enjoy the space.
Love this community garden! Beautiful little spaces to weave through to find some tranquility in this city. Lots of places to sit and points of interest like the turtle pond. Definitely recommend a visit if you need a rest from the bustle in this area.
