Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts

We went to an art show at the Mabel Tainter and ones of the board members came up and introduced herself. She gave us a brief history of the building and enthusiastically answered our questions. Beautiful building and welcoming people.

The theater is absolutely gorgeous! The tour was wonderful and insightful. Definitely a place to visit and check out.

This is a really nice building that has good plays and musicals, and they have a small museum room that has info about the building and the Tainters. The molding and windows and things are also really nice.

Antique and beautiful. Definitely a centerpoint to Menomonie. Has a couple stories, with restrooms accesable lower than the auditorium.

I have been a patron or performer at the MTCA for over 34 years. In that time it has changed physically and emotionally. As a direct result of the Creation of the MTG in the 1950s, the Mabel Tainter Theater was saved from being bull-dozed to make a city parking lot. The MTG continues to be a prime force in the consistent makeup of the MTCA.
