This place is amazing! Different varieties of food make it difficult to not find something to please everyone in your group. The ambience is friendly and relaxing. The sofa I sat in was so comfortable it made leaving the place a real challenge. The vegan gluten-free rolled ice cream was out of this world!
It looks they baked it well haven't tasted it yet but it probably will be yummy by the looks of it I edited this because I put cooked instead of baked
I'm extremely disappointed and very annoyed that I spent my money here. The macarons are terrible. They are pretty, but terrible. They were hard and stale. These cookies are much too expensive to be this bad. I gave them a try because vegans rave about the place, but never again. I know how to make macarons and make my own, but occasionally like to give businesses a try because I'm not a professional pastry chef, but even mine are 100 times better than these. I wouldn't recommend.
So glad I got to enjoy these delicious treats all the way from new Orleans. I saw their booth at the reggae Rise up festival in St pete and was thrilled I got the three day pass so I could try them again. Their macaroons are seriously delicious and I loved the lavender lemonade and Rasta tea.
Service was poor. Ordered an ice cream and after 20 mins was told sorry they would get to it soon. The tea was okay and the macaroons were average at best. Ice cream was corrected with a refund once it looked like it would be a good half hour investment before we would get it.
THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE BATON ROUGE LOCATION! They don't seem to have a separate page yet. Today I went to the Whitestar Market location of Mac & Moon and I have to say I was really disappointed. The bubble tea was $6 so I was expecting a large cup. The plastic cup looked more like a medium or small and was filled up with ice, strike one! The flavor of the tea was pretty nice, although I drank all of the tea in about 5 sips, well before I had gotten through even 1/4 of the tapioca bubbles at the bottom. Which were, unfortunately, very hard and with a crumbly texture, not chewy at all. For $6 plus tax taking the total to over $7, I thought it was a pretty sad bubble tea.
A fully vegan and fully delicious bakery. The milkshakes are the best I've ever had, dairy or otherwise. If you like sweets this is a must do in New Orleans.
Great vegan macarons, but wish they were less sweet and I could taste the individual flavors more. They all tasted a little too similar.
Stale and kinda gross. These macaroons are crumbly and stale. The strawberry donut one I had was under baked a bit too. Honestly not worth it. Skip this place and head to Sucre.
Located in the back of the aesthetically pleasing Auction, House Mac & Moon offer high quality desserts and drinks with a serious attention to detail. The service is so great here, this place is a must go if you're in the area.
