This place has a unique feel and vibe. Food was pretty good. I got the rib eye and my wife got the fish and chips. My steak was supposed to be medium but it was a little on the raw side. I didn't mind but for those who haven't been here keep that in mind. It was still good! It was very busy and they seemed a little short staffed so this may have had a roll in how our dinner went. Hopefully we can come back on a slower night.
Excellent food and service. I had halibut and it was fantastic! The slaw and fries delicious. My husband had a Reuben that he said was the best he's had. Had a baked apple pie cider that was heavenly! Would definitely recommend this place. Well worth the money.

Good food and good service. It was a tad slow but gave us time to visit. Loved the location out and away from things. Cool little country store attached as well.
Gabby, our waitress was very courteous, friendly, came back to see if we needed more beverages, if satisfied, and the food was professionally displayed on the plates, nice portions, fresh, and very favorable. I have always loved this place out in the country. They have been around forever and just open back up recently. They survived the shutdown and are back serving great food. I had the big Ruben sandwich. Lots of meat and Sauerkrat. They also have a general store next door. Even an old time gas pump from the 1920s or 1930s. Check them out if in the general Salem, Silverton or Stayton area.
Prime Rib was raved about so decided to try it out. Very disappointed. Both prime ribs were ordered medium rare. They came out well done. Told wait staff and she said she would let the cook know. She later came by and asked if I wanted a togo box. I said no. Mgr or asst mgr came in, stopped by to ask if I wanted a to go box for remaining more than 3/4's of steak left and I said no. She asked if there was something wrong and we told her. She lifted up the plate to look at steak and stated this should never should have come out of the kitchen or served. The baked potato seemed days old. No offer of comp or even a free dessert? We both said, "I guess they don't want us to come back". Very disappointed in how it was handled.
It was a great surprise we had a great time. Food was great the service was awesome. Overall just great

Best French Dip Sandwich that I have ever had. It is huge and is easily two meals for me with the side dish. Made with primr rib but is only served on certain days as their special of the day.
