Understaffed, tired looking, and disorganized. Returns are easy, and the staff at the return desk are very nice. It's also easy and quick to validate parking, so you can park for free in the ramp.

I think they have quality products that you could use. There staff are friendly and the sales are great.

Apparently, this building was one of the first department stores dated a century ago! It’s quite a sight for a Macys. I rated this store two stars because the selection was horrible. Not what I would expect for such a large store. Very basic.

This store is some what clean. Macy’s offers a verity of clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories and a host of other items at a reasonable price. Plenty of parking spaces in the parking garage but need better lights.

This is probably the best Macy's I've ever been to. There is an absolutely massive men clothing section ranging from mid to high end brands. I purchased a jacket that was not listed on sale but end up paying 40% less then the initial price! The cashier's are also very helpful, professional & pilot. My only problem, which is a small one is that the mens dressing room is horrible. There are few rooms to begin with, they lack mirrors & there's stuff all over the floor. Regardless my experience was mostly pleasant, I would definitely recommend this location.

Convenient parking and easy to get to by Metro. Three floors of housewares, linens, clothing for the whole family, cosmetics, jewelry, and more. Lots of sales throughout the year.

A good Macy's. Metro Accessible and pretty good parking that they validate for 90 minutes. Good to the top level out I the sunlight, there's a crime problem on the lower levels the further you get from Macy's.

Macy's at Pentagon City is awful. No one thinks in that place. I ordered a couple of times to pickup in stores and the estimated time to pickup was around 2hrs. That's fine. I go to pickup at the time and they haven't gotten to it yet. Okay so I'll just cancel the order and pickup my items in person. Store associate who is already so tense and windup says I can't in stores and I need to call the 1-800 number. Umm why can't you just cancel there? Whatever I call to cancel they say I can't because the order is currently being processed in stores. I go back to the store associate while remaking the line at the pickup window who told me to call, and I told her what they told me on the phone. She said it's not being processed and she still cant cancel it for me. I literally have the two products in my hand to checkout and they can't simply match the transaction same exact products to my online order and boom finish the transaction there and then. I told her by not allowing me do this, everyone is doing double work and wasting time. 1 I will literally make the same exact purchase in stores to my online order, 2 later on when my products are actually being processed and the store associate is out in the store gathering my products and bring them to pickup counter is all for nothing because 3 I will literally call back to cancel and refund my money for the online order. So an additional phone call and wasting everyone's time because people in stores can't make a decision or think for themselves to resolve a very common issue, but go this WHOLE process just because "that is their process" -unbelievable, Macy Pentagon City Mall. This society is getting stupid and lazy fast.

I enjoy Macy's! It has always been a pleasant experience for the most part. I didnt prefer the clerk coming behind me as if I had taken something. I sprayed the fragrance that I was considering, to see if it would work for me. As my husband and I were leaving the store, the robocop ran ‍ over behind us and the sales woman walked behind us as we were leaving and I was sharing with my hubby that the scent was pleasant. She exclaimed, 'oh look at you!" I could sense from all that had occurred in that short timeframe that she was implicating that something had taken place. I don't approve of this behavior because the only thing that I am trying steal is hearts for Jesus!!

Do not ever shop the Backstage area, absolutely rude, disorderly, disorganized and scammers. I attempted to return two items purchased on same day with same Macys card. One of the items backstage tag fell off, I was initially told I couldn’t return because of the tag, despite having the original tag, finding several pairs of same pants in store and submitting online account receipt. Customer rep told me she couldn’t return them because pair she found in the store was not the same size as the item I bought. Excuse me….what?! I have never in all my years of shopping heard that before. I asked for a manager who never came to counter despite being in the area. She just directed employees to tell me flat out no. I am now stuck with pants I can’t wear as they were a gift for someone else, and no money or credit for my purchase.Not to mention how rude and unhelpful the employees were. Never shop in that section, it’s a hood Ross at best!
