The services that were provided were perfect! I had them clean my ducts, clean my dryer vent, and check my chimney. The guys who arrived, Ivory and Dee were super professional and did a thorough job. I hired The Mad Hatter for a chimney inspection and paid $89 for 15 minutes of "work" which basically included shining a flashlight up the chimney, looking around, and opening/closing the damper handle. No inspection of the exterior. The technician was friendly and professional, so no problem with that.

The folks at Mad Hatter are a pleasure to deal with, they responded quickly, came out on time, cleaned out the chimney and left everything clean. They also cleaned out the dryer vent too - easy to work with.

I had the best experience with Mad Hatter technicians, Lance and Ivory over the weekend! I had the air ducts in my house cleaned as well as getting my chimney cleaned for the upcoming fall/winter. Both were highly professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and did an amazing job on both services. I would not recommend this service provider due to poor communication. I had submitted a request for a Chimney with a Wood Fire Stove affixed to it to be swept. It was not until the technicians arrived they were very nice, professional and apologetic at my home that I was told it would not be possible for them to clean the Chimney BECAUSE the Wood Fire Stove is attached. If you are looking for a service provider to clean your chimney and wood fire stove, do not utilize this group. I would also recommend that in any communication with this company you ensure scope of work is very clearly confirmed both in writing and by phone before the technicians arrive. The company also did not offer a discount of any kind and was unable to recommend a different provider to me for the service I had hired them for when they could not proceed with completing it.
