We had the pleasure of booking a fishing trip with Ryan who was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. It was our first time to fly fish and he took the time to explain a lot of details related to the sport. He also fixed us a delicious lunch which exceeded our expectations. Ryan is a great guy who provided excellent customer service from start to finish! We look forward to going back for more.

As an absolute novice I was glad to have visited Madison River Fly Fishing. I was greeted right at the door by an excellent four legged employee! I got a lot of answers to get me started, Ryan is very knowledgeable and has a passion for fly-fishing and customer service. I was able to try on different waders and boots to ensure the perfect fit. I plan on booking a guided tour in the near future.

I went on a guided fishing trip with Ryan, the owner, and it was fantastic. We hit some some beautiful spots and caught a ton of fish. It was a great trip for this first time fly-fisher and I highly recommend it! The shop is full of great gear also.

Ryan Wilson of Madison river outfitters is hands down one of the best guides in the game. I spent a day with him in the mountains and not only did he put me on fish, but we also spent a large amount of time just discussing why we were drawn to this sport and the others that we enjoy while we were fishing. I can not recommend him highly enough, if you want to learn to trout fish, book with Ryan. I know for sure I will be booking again and will be bringing my wife to learn the game as well.

Great shop, friendly folks, and very patient. Booked a trip through the shop for my dad. Renny, our guide, put us on the fish and did an excellent job we netted over 30 trout in one day. Highly recommend shopping and booking trips through Madison River.

I walked into the shop without any knowledge of fly fishing what so ever and Jeff kindly explained to me everything that I needed and set me up with a good rig. I would happily recommend this shop to anyone with anyone as the service here is top-notch.

Recently moved here from NY, never been fishing before. Brought our new poles in and guy “hooked us up” literally! Taught us how to line, weight, and bait. Was very patient and kind!
