Magellan Tutoring

Our daughter had to miss some school and, as a result, missed some of the math materials that were covered in her absence. We talked to a few tutors and companies, but decided to go with Magellan after doing a complimentary initial session with Adam to help our daughter. He’s been tutoring her for a few months, and we have been very happy with his ability to accommodate our schedule and impressed with his skills and work with our daughter, especially on the days when she is less than thrilled to study extra math. Definitely recommend.

When looking for a tutor for AP Calc BC, I found a service located in right my neighborhood! I reached out to Magellan Tutoring requesting one-on-one tutoring and received a prompt response from the owner, Mike. He listened to our needs and explained his services and processes for matching the needs of the student to the right tutor. We were able to schedule the first session within the week, had a positive interaction with the tutor, and then able to find a weekly time and location that worked well for our schedule. The tutor, Adam, is very knowledgeable, patient, and is able to break down the concepts into manageable pieces. The sessions have improved their confidence and understanding of this difficult subject. We have had only positive interactions with Mike and Adam and look forward to working with them.

Leah Nohra was my math tutor for my online college calculus class at North Carolina A&T University, SHE WAS AMAZING!!!, I learned all new types of things from her, and she was always there for me whenever I needed help during a session or even when we weren’t scheduled for one.
