Maggy's Lounge is awesome! Cozy atmosphere! Great vibes! Friendly staff! Excellent sounding LIVE room for checking out bands!!! And their menu is delicious! I had a small pizza to go..best decision I made that week
Love this place. I have driven by it so many times but did not go until recently, and wow what a great little place for food and entertainment. Maura was awesome with the service and drinks. Be very careful with the Melantini's as they can get out of hand very quickly, they go down so good! I like all the pizza's but my favorite is the salty and sweet and I could eat like a hundred dough knots with beer cheese. The entertainment varies but it's a fun atmosphere and great food. Would recommend for anyone over 21!
Good pizza and great music plus the staff/owner was amazing. Stopped in for a quick bite with a group of 11 and was accommodated. The menu was mouth watering for a pizza lover from New York. All of us had something different and we still only scratched the surface of the menu. And not one complaint. The band was playing and the music was good. All ate for $150.00. Lots of soda and juices so it's not pricey. Didn't have alcoholic drinks but will return...
Good pizza, solid beer choices, good mixed drinks. Owners and staff are friendly and generally great. The comedy debate on Friday nights at 7 is a riot.
Great place! Food is great, staff is great! Bands are great! Loved Trouble on Friday night 8/18/17. Please have them back soon!!! Would love to see The Blueberries again and Super Fly! Parking is not good!
Always a fun time every time I go there! The bartender there are exceptionally nice. I love Maura :- the prices for drinks are really cheap, and the atmosphere is very easy and great. I recommend this place highly to anyone! If you haven't gone there yet, definitely give this place a try you won't be sorry.
Best pizza in town, live entertainment including stand-up comedy.
Maggie's is a bit of a hidden treasure. It sits on its lot looking like any old house, but is actually a neighborhood bar and performance space. First, the bar: dozens, maybe hundreds of different brands of beer on tap or in cans/bottles; if you like beer, you'll find one you like here I found Maine Beer Lunch. Food options are tasty, the pizza is very good. Second, the venue: medium sized performance space often packed with audience members, with a constant stream of the Boston area's best comedians passing through. Pizza, beer, and laughter. That's Maggie's Lounge.
Fantastic service along with live entertainment. If you haven't experienced the live comedy every Friday night you're missing out. They've also got a great selection of drinks along with really good pizza.
The venue was great for a small small personal show. The bar staff was extremely responsive and pleasant. However, the bouncer crew was not calm throughout the event and seem to have trouble dealing with a metal venue. I'd have enjoyed the venue more if the bouncers didn't freak out over a mosh pit... at a metal show. The band ended at 1am, the bouncers promptly began to scream at all guests to "get out" with choice language as if they were delinquent. Overall, the show experience outweighs the lack of courtesy from some staff. It's worth noting that here are so many other venues in Boston that properly can calmly handle their clientele at metal venues.
